the MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I have ever lived in my life, please take the reviews as a huge heads up as i wish i wouldve. the entire complex is infested with roaches and mice!! im sorry but thats just unacceptable. i had my brand new baby and refused to live in such a shit hole. i raised enough hell to where they let me break the lease because i was about to sue their ass. theres disgusting people everywhere, all the Mexicans and their children running the halls all the time, people leave trash and furniture outside the halls, the pools are seriously disgusting i just dont see how this place has stayed in business. they changed management 3-4 times while i was there for just a few months. please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else even if u have to pay more its worth paying to live in a place thats not filled with bugs, rodents, and dirty ass people...
Possibly the greatest joke of an apartment building of all time. A guest parked his car for 5 hours in the evening and his car was towed. There is not posted parking anywhere. Smells like cat piss every where is the buildings. Management goes out of their way to make life miserable for tenants. DO NOT RENT HERE
Living here was close to impossible. The staff was incredibly disorganized and were not able to answer the simplest questions. The first day I went in for a tour, the staff person could not even figure out how to open the door for the model apartment! The maintenance staff was even worse. There is a phone line to call, which I called repeatedly (for a slamming door in the hallway that woke me up every night and an infestation of flies that came in from next door), and when I moved out, I was told that the staff would not check the messages or return tenants' calls. To get anything fixed, I would have to go to the office and yell about it every day. My heater was broken and windows were leaking cold air for half the winter before they tried to fix it. The other tenants were terrible. They left messes in any common hallway or space, were incredibly loud in the apartment above me, and they yelled profanities to each other outside my window every night. After the first rental period, they start overcharging their tenants for rent, and utilities are unreasonable and difficult to pay. I moved out three months ago, and they have still not sent me my deposit check. Do NOT move in here. The rent may seem good, but it is not worth it.
It's really too bad there isn't a way to give these apartments less than 1 star. I lived there awhile ago and had the worst experience of my life. Everything is downright filthy- from the management to the buildings. My fridge went out at one point, took them 3 days to replace, and they just shrugged when I complained about loosing a few hundred dollars worth of food. The icing on the cake, however, was moving out. I waited, waited, and waited some more for my deposit and final information from them after moving out and providing my new address. After a few weeks, I went to the office. They claimed I owed a few thousand dollars in late fees, because they had sent my final billing to a PO box that I had NEVER been associated with! They jerked me around quite a bit, until I showed up with a treble notice and lawyer. My deposit was quickly returned after that. Please- for your sanity and your health, stay away from Coronado!
Greatly exaggerated rent for low income style apartments, no care about the bug infestation but don't be late on rent, they sure do remind you of that three days before rent is even due!
