This apartment complex is absoulty racist and stereotypes when it comes to African American. The security follows you around like you've done something wrong. I live there for a year and had a incident where I was in the club house. The leasing manger came in and said they where going to have a meeting. So I politely left forgetting my keys. Came back to receive them and they where gone. They took my keys and lied about having them and told me to leave the property because I can't be there with out the lease holder which is my sister. I have never had a problem with anyone there but got treated like a dog. Had to wait till my sister got off work to get back in the complex and was told I couldn't be there unless she was with me, which we all know everyone has family, and relationships with others who lets you visit there home every now and then it was just unheard of. Smh
Pros: The community and amenities are very nice and well maintained. The rooftop terrace is amazing and has probably one of the best views of downtown in Atlanta. The maintenance staff is always very prompt. The office staff has been very helpful as well. The location itself is very close to 75/85 and 20 so it's very convenient to get on the highway and is walking distance to all of the bars on Edgewood. Cons: Limited guest parking, somewhat noisy, there is a fair amount of crime reported but I personally haven't been affected. My advice would be to avoid living on the ground floor if possible. Also Camden is very strict about when you are allowed to put your trash out and the will charge you a fee if you don't follow the guidelines
I have been a resident for a little over a month now and so far, my experience has been very positive. The office staff has been nice and helpful, the apartment unit is high-quality and the fixtures provided are energy-efficient, which results in monetary savings when it comes to utilities. My neighbors are super friendly, and I like receiving the constant updates of things they are doing within the community to improve. My only complaint is the small number of guest parking...I have had family and friends visit and they have had to park across the street, behind the library, which is pretty sketchy at night. Overall, I would recommend Camden Vantage. You definitely get what you pay for, and I mean that in a positive manner.
I have lived here for about a year and half and I absolutely love the property, the location and the super friendly staff here at Camden Vantage. The views are to die for and the staff keep the property looking very very nice. They are strict with residents who do not properly get rid of trash or clean up after their pets, which is great for keeping the property looking so nice! Other places Ive lived downtown do not take the time to enforce these rules and I am so glad Camden does. The managers all work hard to keep the community very close and warm and friendly here, with monthly and weekly activities from bootcamp to free breakfast which is always a nice plus. I've also never had a problem in getting a maintenance request completed within 24 hours. I can definitely say out of every property I've lived at, Camden truly feels like home and the staff goes above and beyond to make residents comfortable and work out any issues.
I wish there were more stars to give because this place is FANTASTIC!! Seriously, I could not ask for anything more from the staff, the location, the facilities, or any other aspect. Without a single moment of hesitation, I would (and have many times already!) recommend living here. It's the best decision I've made in my move down to the city. The responsiveness and communication of the staff is unparalleled. They are extraordinarily kind and professional as well as accommodating and responsive. In fact, with Thanksgiving just last week, what better way to share my thanks and appreciation as well as to highlight what I love about Camden and why you should live here than through this review. So here it goes, this is why I live here and this is why I think you should too: 1. Camden Staff: THANK YOU to all the staff! My brother and I have had an absolutely fantastic experience. You guys respond quickly to service calls, everything is clean and well maintained, and you are always kind, courteous, and helpful when I have a question or an issue. You've made me feel at home from Day 1! And anytime friends come over, they are always really impressed with the whole community, facilities, and of course the breathtaking view of the city from the rooftop! 2. Neighbors: THANKS to a number of people my brother and I have met randomly whether in the Elevator, on the Rooftop, just walking through the halls, or elsewhere. Everyone has been friendly and open. Little things go a long way and surprisingly fun random encounters with neighbors has been a little, yet big part of the great experience! 3. Community: I'm thankful for the location and community we live in at Camden! It's so close to so many things and the view is pretty much the best in the city! From this location, It's so easy to get involved in anything and everything you could ever want - from rec sports and amazing parks to delicious food and fun pubs to fantastic entertainment, music, and other venues - Camden is close to it all. One day I can taking a run on the Freedom Park Trail and/or the Beltline and the next I can jump over to downtown Atlanta or Midtown - it's awesome. And it's so close to major highways like 75/85 and Freedom Parkway so getting around the city is easy. Basically, there's lots to do, lots of people to meet, and lots to be thankful for! So, for those of you looking for a place to live in Atlanta, I hope you pick Camden - you won't regret it. It's an amazing place and I feel fortunate to live in a place like this.
