I'm actually quite surprised by the negative reviews, and also some of the photos on this page are outdated. This location has been renovated in recent years. I stayed here for only a night, and compared to other HIE establishments in the Bay Area (same brand), the amenities were superior and the room was bigger. In-room wifi signal was strong. The front desk was very courteous. The room was equipped with many outlets and connections that you won't find at other HIEs, such as HDMI, iPod dock, USB, etc. Although the rates tend to be higher because of the location (Silicon Valley), I wish I had stayed longer.
I travel 2 weeks out of every month and stay at a Holiday Inn or Marriott.. do not waste your money here!!! It costs 180 a night on a weekday! Be it that the place is nice, the employees are zombies and its not like the location is in the beach! Find a Marriott and don't look back ..
We stayed for 2 nights in Nov. 2007. Everything seems ok except their internet connection is on and off. Even the hard wired cable is not working properly in our room. The parking is below our room and privacy is good. For the price we paid, we have no complaint!
Place was fine, staff were retarded. The story goes on and on, but they do not understand how to run a business. I can't even really describe it, but I missed my 1st meeting because of the staff, waiting around for their mistakes, then I get home and find out they didn't mail a letter I dropped at the counter. The hits don't stop. There are plenty of choices of where to stay around here, save yourself the headache.
Excellent location, nice rooms, reasonable breakfast, large choice of assorted restaurants at walking distance.
