I have lived here for about 2 years. I really like my apartment, has a shade tree and Im happy that the walls are insulated so you don't hear AS MUCH as other apartments but...tennants beside me were noisy as hell, constantly pounding on walls at 1 or 2 AM. They have been quiet for a while now, lets hope it stays that way. My other complaint is the noise. I realize I live facing the main parking area and gate so that is understood but, I work nights and lately they have been doing something right below me every day!! I saw a guy blowing leaves with a very noisy leaf blower and it was windy as hell! What a waist of your money and mine!! I do want to stay here for the most part but I started out paying 635.00 and now im up to 680.00 and still going up. also some of the cars have no mufflers and they do donuts all the time! Some one in a small white car, all i know. Other than that, I do want to continue living here.
I have been at Lakeview at Superstition Springs for 9 years. First of all, this is a lovely place to live with lakes and walking paths, and a convenient location, near shopping malls, groceries, and movies. I have to remember that for the owners, whoever they are, this is a business and they must make a profit. Making a profit in a business means that unlike the federal government, you cannot print money. The owners have to be careful about how money is spent. This means that I, as a customer, a rent payer, sometimes have to try harder to get things done in a way that is reasonable. I have been able to do this, sometimes with some resistance, but when I think about some other businesses, this has been a breeze. At least I don't have to talk to someone in another country to get something done, and so I have enjoyed this facility. Howard Cohen MD
My family and I have just completed two years at Lakeview and it has been a beautiful experience, to say the least. The physical infrastructure is first class and the lakes make it even better. It is conveniently located close to ASU Mesa campus, superstition springs mall, Harkins Theatre et al. The property is well maintained and the office staff stand out for their proactive and polite approach. The previous gym was excellent and I have been told it is being further upgraded. The recent renovations to the front office as also the residents clubhouse are very attractive. We enjoyed the monthly bingo/ other celebrations at the clubhouse. I feel a couple of suggestions for improvement are in order. If somehow the property is made 100% gated community, residents would feel further secure. My parking was quite far from my apartment which was slightly inconvenient. The kitchen should be upgraded with the latest faucets which can be moved easily. I must admit that my wife and I did an extensive survey of the other properties in the area and found this to be the best. Therefore I would whole heartedly recommend the property to prospective tenants. The rents are slightly on the higher side but good quality never comes cheap.
Four stars and getting better! I would encourage anyone looking at this property to ignore comments prior to the takeover by new owners. Fairfield is making a real investment in this property. Roofs have been replaced, trees have been trimmed, broken curbing has been replaced, and they are painting the buildings. The security gates are finally working, the office is being renovated, and it looks like they have completed a project which I expect will keep the office parking lot from being submerged under water every time it rains. This is an aging community and management is now making repairs before problems arise. Not all improvements are visible. They are working on the infrastructure, investing in the property and bringing it up to date. It takes time to repair aging structures and the neglect of prior owners. Maybe the grass doesn't look so great, but your roof isn’t leaking because it’s been replaced. I know the tenants that lived above me would have appreciated that when the rain was coming in by the buckets and they were moving everything out of their bedroom at 1:00 in the morning! Fairfield hasn’t just bought an apartment building here. They have a community of buildings and they are taking care of them all, not just slapping a bandaid on the current crisis and moving down the road. I for one appreciate their efforts. I have been here for 3 years and plan to be here for a long time. So thank you Fairfield for taking care of my lake view home!
I have been a resident at Lakeview for about three years now. The previous management company was pretty good so I was scared when I heard a new management company would be coming in. So, I went into the office to talk to someone, Joyce, who is fairly new there greeted me with such enthusiasm and instantly made me feel at home with Fairfield. Ever since Fairfield has taken over, the landscape has improved, they fixed the gates, apartments are being redone and they said the gym was getting renovated as well, I'm excited to see what else the new management company will bring to the community!
