If I could, I'd give negative stars. I only gave one star because Google made me in order to post this warning. This is by far the WORST apartment complex. Huntington staff allows maintenance to come into your apartment without notice or leaving a note saying they were there, you are only left to assume you were broken into. Floors aren't installed correctly making gaps between the plastic tiles and rent is constantly being raised. I refuse to pay more than $375 for this crappy apartments. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND STRESS AND DO NOT LIVE HERE. I guarantee you that you can find cheaper and way better apartments to live in. If you cannot, contact me and I will personally help you find a place. It's that bad. Living here has made me fear for my safety and health. Don't make the mistake of signing a lease here.
Honestly can say spend a couple dollars more elsewhere. That is the most polite way to describe it. I assure you there's better for less. As well as A lot better for just 10 dollars more a month.
Lived there for two years. It was an old property with old buildings, that is forgivable. But there we a number of things which pissed me off. First off, when we moved in, we were promised hardwood floor. We paid extra for this, it took them 16 MONTHS to install this service even after numerous complaint from my roommates and myself. We had a number of maintenance issues which were not promptly resolved. They did however respond quickly two times, both related to one of the bedrooms flooding because of the upstairs neighbor's water heater. The other was from our water heater breaking. Their solution to this was to pull up the carpet and run an air blower under it for 4 days straight. Plugged in to our electricity, so we effectively got to pay for this repair. Good thing no one lived in that bedroom at the time. Most of the electrical outlets were faulty, with cables not staying plugged in. This caused more than one device to short out and be ruined. But once you get past all of that, they will charge you for things which their maintenance did when you move out. One of the line items was "cable running through closet." This was the Cable TV Plug which the complex installed. The towel bar in the bathroom, which was damaged when we moved in was also noted as "damaged." They also chipped the window and then proceeded to charge us for it upon move-out. Both of the latter items were listed on our "move in inventory." To sum it up, DO NOT LIVE HERE. The local staff may not be terrible, but DTI (the management company) will charge you for EVERYTHING. Take pictures of everything when you move-in or move out. They are just another company out to nickel and dime college students because they don't know any better. Just like most of the apartments in this town. Trust me, shop around there are much better options. But they are located right next to Wolf Pen Creek Park, so at least you will have that...
I paid for a whole year at this place and was given a price by one of their employees. A few days after moving in they suddenly said they miscalculated and I owe $360. A mistake by an employee should not make the customer suffer. I even called the DTI Investments Inc. (the company they're under) and they won't do anything about it. Now I'm stuck here for a year and still have to pay extra. I suggest to stray away from this place. And if you decide to choose them still don't trust the employee's word of mouth. I'm so frustrated and angry at their customer service. It's absolutely terrible.
I give this place ZERO stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Mold, old a/c units that run 24/7 (even set on 79), unsafe parking, unenforced parking rules... Just drive on by. Do not stop, do not waste your time.
