My husband and I lived here for 3 years, luckily in one of the very first apartments and honestly, we loved our actual unit, 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings. If we were in a back unit I know that we would have hated it. We didn't really have any maintenance issues just minor here and there and when we did, they seemed to be prompt. The only interaction I had with the office was literally once a month when I turned in rent. We didn't utilize any of the amenities, just a personal decision but they did finally get a treadmill in the fitness room and the pool seems to be kept up. We pest sprayed our unit ourselves, another personal choice, and never had any issues until literally 3 months before our lease was up when we started seeing German Roaches in our unit. We had to be on on the office staff every week to send Terminix to respray our unit, 2 months later they were finally exterminated. The prices are decent but keep going up and with the units being so old they will definitely have to do some renovations in order to effectively keep charging these rates. As far as the complex as a whole, you get what you pay for. As a lower income apartment, but not section 8, there is a ton of riff raff; fights, partying, incosiderate neighbors, drugs, disrespectful teenagers, vandalism, the works. I've personally broke up groups of teenagers fighting after school, in addition to the most recent call to the police for a huge fight around 8pm on a Friday that was complete with gunfire. We enjoyed our unit but not the complex as a whole and the unfortunate stereotypes that come with low income apartments. It can be hit or miss unfortunately. Proceed with caution.
Dirty, drug infested, overpriced, disgusting tenants. Pretty much an elegant form of ghetto.
I have recently moved into this apartment complex and am not a bit pleased or impressed. No disrespect meant, but we have done nothing but encounter problems since arriving. Not only did it take over 3 hours to get into our place after receiving a phone call rescheduling our move in date, but to top it off, our apartment was not clean (we had to do this ourselves before moving in our stuff), we have had a roach problem since we got here, it has not even been a week and the toilet is already clogged and was all weekend due to us having two toilets it was not considered an emergency for them to attend too. And if this does not sound bad enough, it is not well kept. Yes they have a pool, but you can see all the trash and filth on the bottom of the pool, there is trash laying all over the ground and the residents are not held responsible when not picking up what their animals leave behind. Overall, I am not a bit impressed and should have took the other reviews more seriously with the complaints on this place. Although you sign a lease to move in, the penalty for leaving before the lease is up is a small price to pay once you reside here for a short period of time. I do not come from a rich family or a fancy house, but never in my life have I lived somewhere that takes no pride in their establishment, tenants or their job! I hope this review is read before moving into this complex to save you the headache we have endured in less than two weeks!!
is very helpful. Rates are very reasonable. Property is kept poorly however. Landscaping is miserable, the spa at the pool is almost always put of order. Takes much to long to get maintenance. Very rude neighbors who leave trash in bags on their stoop.
MISERABLE! I had a drug dealer living above me and a dead body was found in the parking lot the first week I moved in. Laundry facility was flooded and out of order. Never used gym or pool - no desire to be around the other people living there. Kids banged on my first floor living room window terrorizing my dogs, making them bark, and upsetting the neighbors. Maintenance would come during the day, not fix something, and not leave a note- had no idea if they had been there without calling the leasing office - and even they didn't know! When I moved out it was spotless but they charged me cleaning fees over $170 in cleaning fees. Only got back $50 from the original $250 balance (overpaid last month and security deposit). Would not recommend to anyone. Also they accept section 8 but will not tell you if you ask, but every other complex in the area knows...and it doesn't come as a surprise.
