WHAT THE SELLER LOVES ABOUT THIS HOME: "With a central fieldstone fireplace for gathering, our home has been the perfect place to bring city friends for R&R. With twenty acres surrounded by forest and meadows, we have delighted in the subtle changes of each season. Whether it is taking in the sunrise with coffee on the three-season porch, enjoying a hike around the property, visiting the neighbor's horse farm, or laughing around the table over a glass of wine in the evening, this is country living at its finest. The current acreage serves as a hayfield but is tillable or suitable for grazing. The kitchen cabinetry, trim, mantle, and great room ceiling comes from timber from the property. All of the stone in the fireplace - including the hearth - is fieldstone collected from the property. Finches, hummingbirds, Baltimore orioles, and martins nest in and around the property. This homestead would be perfect for raised beds, a chicken cooperative, or beekeeping - and we've already got a great compost started!
