I stayed in Park Plaza apartment for over two years, and I would like to highly recommend this apartment. 1) Elizabeth is a super nice lady who manages this apartment. She is willing to help. For example, she took care of my mails, deliveries when I took a long vacation. She helped me keep my mails after I moved out, and let me know about it. 2) The rent is increased only once since I leave there due to the inflation. After my official 6 month lease is expired, I still leave in the apartment with the same monthly rent without additional increase for about 6 months until I moved out. The rent is not increased as frequently as other apartment. 3) It has a gym and a swimming pool. There are many parking spots around the buildings and you always have parking space. 4) They react quickly to the tenant's request. If something broken, it can be fixed very quickly. 5) Even you locked yourself out of your apartment, what you need is just a call. And a nice guy onsite will come and bring the key to you in less than 5 minutes without a charge even in off hours like weekends. That's so amazing!
I lived in these apartments for six months after moving to California for work. The apartments are fine, but expensive (as is the trend in Mountain View). The only thing that bugged me was the apartment walls were kind of thin; noise from the hall traveled in too easily. I decided to move to Sunnyvale, which I think has much nice housing at lower prices.
I've lived here two years, since Nov. 2005, and I'm moving out this year because: -They decided to raise the rent on our two bedroom from $1360 (month-to-month) to $1550 (with 6 month lease) or $1650 (month-to-month). This is almost a 15% raise. -When things broke, they did a poor job of fixing it -Management is rude. When we gave 30 days notice, they gave us paperwork showing how much we would owe them for paint, carpet, etc. We protested, since the place doesn't need a paint job - but they said "that's the rules, take us to court if you don't like it." I don't think this place is worth the price anymore - save yourself some trouble AND some money!
I lived here for 5 years .Management is good.
