Nice apartment, love the location. I just feel that their are rude leasing personal. They are not friendly at all and act as if you are bothering them for simple things like your packages.
Beware the leasing office! I don't know if it's intentional or just sheer incompetence, but you cannot trust them or believe a word they say. I'll provide a few examples: -Before I moved in, I asked for a copy of the lease in advance. You'd have thought I asked for the golden fleece, this was such a production. They hemmed and hawed and I ended up sitting down to to sign a ~15 page document (10 point, single spaced) without having reviewed it. Awesome. -Their pet policy was explained to me when I signed my lease. It was typical, no dogs over 100 pounds, etc. I signed an acknowledgement that I'd received a copy of the pet policy. Then, two months later when I asked if there were any steps I needed to take to register a dog I wanted to get, I was told they don't allow dogs at all. I was told the policy hadn't changed, that they never allowed dogs. NOT what I was told. -When I had to break my lease to move out of state for family reasons, they explained their lease change policy to me and said I'd be eligible for a $400 referral bonus. Only then they changed their minds. It turns out they decided I WASN'T eligible for the bonus and that the lease change policy had different (read: much worse) requirements than I'd been told. -I just got my security deposit check, and it's for less than half of what I paid. I have never gotten anything less than the full deposit back from at least a half dozen owners/landlords from whom I've rented before. There's a $200 cleaning charge on there with no explanation. Nonsense. Honestly, I liked my apartment well enough while I lived there. They nickle and dime you on everything, though. For instance, they charged me $50 for a second key fob to the building. So I can't have a spare set of keys unless I pay a $50 nonrefundable "deposit?" Again, nonsense. The walls are definitely a little thin... you can hear the person next door. The pool is not nearly as cool as the picture makes it look, but the gym and common area are OK. It's not the worst place in the world to live. But DO NOT trust anything the leasing office tells you unless you get it in plain writing in advance.
I have lived here for just over a year. I love my apt. Great floors, and big windows. The pool in the summer is awesome!! I think that it is all a little over priced, but you have everything you need here. The gym is great and not dinky. Parking, washer dryer and people who will fix anything are just an email away. As for the Plus Mgmt staff in the office, well they are over paid for being LAZY and clueless.
