While the apartment it self is decent and the rent price normal for the area, property management is inadequate to say the least. Repeatedly inflated bills without any apparent reason, numerous calls to solve issues. It took them 3 months to give me the final closing bill, and that was after I was referred to a collection agency(!) although I called at least 4 times and was waiting for them to send the final bill.. Plus, their mailing system is a joke. Notifications some times are not sent at all and packages are right and left.. Avoid this place at all costs...
It's not terrible but I spent the same amount in rent at a Bozutto property and got so much more. Bozzuto has events for residents, 24 concierge service and I was able to get to know neighbors. Here the office is only open during working hours so I can never get a package. Also, I live alone with a dog and in an emergency, the Bozzuto people would let dog walkers into my unit, which was so helpful. Here they won't do it. The strip on my bathroom sink fell off and the maintenance team comes when they feel like it. They don't give me notice that they're coming and then refused to come in numerous times because I didn't know to crate my dog.
I visited this property recently when I was in the market searching for an apartment and I quickly felt at home! It has that "community-feeling when you pull into the parking lot and the staff was amazing! Dan was very knowledgeable and Alma greeted me with a smile. It was a bit far from my job so I opted for another community closer to Pentagon City, however I will and have recommended this property to friends and associates.
Great community to live in and be a part of. The apartment homes are well priced and well appointed. The complex is close to most things and access is easy with public transportation. There is a shuttle to the Metro and the driver, Asafa, is a wonderful human being, true salt of the earth. The guy I leased from, Dan was great too. Always handled all requests in a timely and efficient manner. If ownership knows what's up, they'd put him in charge of the place. He makes what could be a generic living experience seem custom tailored, warm, and engaging. Nothing feels more like home than being rememberd and called by your name when you enter the office. My only negatives are parking and recycling. Recycling must be brought all the way to the underground garage. Parking is fine for residents, but the guest policy is kinda wonky. Not sure how to fix it, but if Dan were in charge, I'm sure he would be able to. All in all, a great living experience I would reccomend to anyone moving to DC/VA/MD area.
Great garden style apartments. I've lived here for 3 years and have no complaints. Close to a park, with a fenced in dog area. These apartments are very pet friendly, and it seems everyone has a dog. Most of them were recently re-modeled with hardwood floors and new appliances. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend these apartments to friends.
