Formerly Stone Manor of Sonterra and just changed their name to Oxford at Sonterra due to screwing the residents so much they had to change their name. This is a nasty place to live in Stone Oak. Do yourself a favor and move into one of the new complexes in the neighborhood. These old wrecks along with the old battle-axes that run the place will gauge you and harass you until the end of time. Dog feces covered grounds, junk repairs with break/fix that are never fixes. I just posted a pic of my urine soaked wall. Staff uses bully tactics and will trump up fictitious charges when you move. I've filed numerous complaints with emails, voice mails and video. Run! When you move, you will get nothing in return. They will add mystery fees, attack your credit report and then lie to Atty General and BBB with fake documentation. Drive through the complex, look at the garages. They were built for a lawn mower. If you have pets, walk through the neighborhood, avoid the dog park like the plague and do not allow you pet to roam the premises. Also, there are crack pipes on the lawn. Seriously. Walk around and take a look for yourself. Repulsive place to live.

Noisey, noisey, noisey. Oh and did I mention noisey. I know it's an apartment complex, but the neighbors do not know how to use door knobs when shutting doors, they just slam the door they need shut. Neighbors are constantly in and out random times of the night. They also walk around they own elephants. Sometimes they like to stand outside of apartment door and talk, laugh, and have a good ole time, again random times of the night. Tried working these issues out myself, failed, then tried to get management involved, they just seem to not care as long as they were getting their money. If you are looking for an apartment to rent, I recommend somewhere nicer. I'm just glad I signed a 3 month lease, can't wait for it be up, and my family and me out of here.

This apt. complex is located in a nice clean safe area and very affordable compared to others surrounding the area. My husband and I have lived here since June and couldn't be happier. The staff is so friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home, the maintence guy is fabulous and fast our work orders get done right away with no hassle and no round abouts. We have no problem hearing our neighbors and with 2 dogs its got plenty of room to take them on walks and let them get a good run in.We have room to bike, sidewalks for walks, and are close to shopping and parks. Family or not this is a great place to be and make home. You know who you are living with and what your are living around. As for the manager i haven't ever had any issues with her and niether has my husband she has been great and works with us and is always friendly to us.Being small town texas "folk" this was an easy move and adjustment. They also have awesome millitary deals def. worth the drive to post :)

Been here two years. Maintenance issues are handled expertly and efficiently. Dogs are a problem, but that is an owner issue. Management is VERY lax and repeated complaints fall on deaf ears alot. However, once you get to the point of extreme behavior they do step in. The problem is people with dogs thinks everyone loves them, and there is no problem with them barking all the damn day and night. There is pet poop areas, and people refuse to use them. Some refuse to pick up their dogs poop. Regarding other issues, the maintenance in the exercise room is poor, don't count on it. The pool is well maintained and clean. It is the people who bring their dogs to the pool, and let their kids use it as a urinal, but they are from foreign countries and I guess there aren't the standards there that we have in the U.S., welcome to diversity. There is a VERY large diverse crowd of lot's of middle eastern and India types. They make up the majority of couples with children. They are quiet, respectful and good neighbors. Few have animals. All in all, a very good place to live.
