The staff is extremely rude and condescending. I would suggest renting somewhere else so you can avoid dealing with snooty people who don't have the slightest regard for the concerns of tenants.
My husband and I lived at Winding Creek for two years untill we moved out last year, to move to an apartment off of Broadway to be closer to school/work. I felt safer at our apartment off of Broadway then I did living in the "nice" northside location of this apartment complex. The thing is, is that the apartment itself, staff, maintance and grounds were all perfectly fine and the rent was affordable. The downside was the safey issue. On numerous occasions I would be home by myself with lights on at night(so they obviously knew someone was there) in my living room watching tv and I would hear and see someone wiggleing my door handle! They were trying to get in or atleast see if I was dumb enough not to lock my door. Who knows what would have happened if we wouldn't have kept our doors locked 24/7. Also, when we were out of town for a week, our car got broken into and our sound system got completly ripped out. Atleast every two-three months while living there, we would get a note on our door alerting us that an apartment in the complex got broken into and to remind us all to keep our windows/doors locked. Now, I know this is not the apartments problem per se, but come on, invest in some sort of security to prevent numerous break-ins. Once the wonderfully nice staff leaves for the night, thats when the problems start.
My family and I have lived here for three+ years and love it! The community is quiet and respectful and the staff is tops!
