The whole place needs pressure washing. I have a friend who lives here and his apartment is very nice.
When I first moved into the 1bedrm apt. it was nice that they have a nice big porch and a fireplace. But, the people above me sounded like elephants! Where I live now the apt is newer and doesn't have the old paper thin building mat. Also, my first day I saw that they did not have a pro. maid serv. clean from the tenet before. I had the bug guy every week but still had cockroaches in my dishwasher,fridge and everywhere else! I also got bats twice and the office said they cant help bc they are protected. Rabies anyone? When I left after 1 yr. I never got my gate key 50$ back. You cannot pay rent online only by check! really?! Also, my tub was nasty and always clogged they tried fixing to no avail. also the cops were always there! The good are the ducks that live at the lake,Walmart and Wynn Dixie is walking distance and my neighbors. The old mgmt lady that works in the office is rude and said a terrible thing to my 5 yr old daughter! The young guy who who works in the office is awesome! Save your receipt for the gate card bc Im still fighting for my $50 bc I saved receipt. Run away!
Great community, beautiful landscaped, lake front pool, gym, spa, tennis courts, BBQ area. Gated, security cameras, low crime rate. One and two bedroom condos, half of them privately owned. Pest control ist included in HOA fee so owners and tenants can just call the front office if they have roaches and it will be taken care of. If people don't call they should not complain. Hallways are sometimes dirty because ducks are living on the property and unfortunately they sometimes leave something behind. It was considered moving them but they would come back so this is not an option either. Maintenance does their best to keep the property clean. Criminal background checks are required for tenants, pets are welcome and the community is centrally located with shopping and public transport nearby. The bus even runs all the way via Altamonte Mall to the airport. So to me its the perfect place. Everything I desire.
I love the Oasis at Pearl Lake. It is peaceful, green and just beautiful. People are nice, front office is friendly and service oriented, Public transport is close and so are a grocery store, a drug store, Walmart, several shops and restaurants and Lowes. Thanks to thorough criminal background checks, security gates and cameras, the crime rate is low. Love to hang out at the lake front pool. It truly is an Oasis.
Do not rent from this apartment/condo complex. They are offering to rent condos that are in receivership and will lie about the details just to get you into them. Do not rent receivership units from them. They will be sold out from under you and you'll be evicted without the requisite 30 day notice. In my situation, it was 4 days notice and that was only because I called and pleaded with the new owner for extra time. They'll describe them as low cost alternatives to regular apartments and that they rarely sell. They'll tell you that the new owner will legally have to buy out your lease if the property is sold, but that's not true. They'll tell you that nobody can just come in and force you to move, but again, the new owner absolutely can... Most importantly, stay away from a man at the office named Mike!
