My family's experience here has been a horrific nightmare. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone but especially not young families. The grounds are extremely unsanitary covered in feces (duck, geese, dogs) nobody cleans up around here and I've witnessed drug deals taking place in the parking lot. If you are considering living here don't let the smiles from the office fool you because that changes the moment you sign your lease. Don't make the same mistake we did, RUN!
The apartments are overall quite nice. I really enjoy the location and the staff is helpful and kind. They do a great job keeping up with the landscaping, mowing nearly every day (So if you work nights, stop reading this and find another place to go). Maintenance personnel are on the ball all the time and really legit. The MAJOR downfall of this complex however is the 1990's DSL internet. They sign you up for it once you get here and tell you that you don't have to keep it. Not too shabby, except NO ONE ELSE will come here to do an install! Since September-October, I've heard the same old story upon my inquiries. "Oh it's coming, we are upgrading it." "They recently installed cable in our other complex." That's great, but I'm not at the other complex, I'm here and for the past year have been banging my head against a wall trying to find a work around. Per a phonecall with Cox, somehow they've gotten on bad terms with them over some previous shady things and won't come out here, so if you want Cox, it's not happening. And now they have put signs up all over the place telling your '500 dollars off!' and 'come, refer your friends so they can suffer with you!'. Cedars is nice, but if you're looking for a modern establishment with freedom to choose your ISP, don't come here. It's 2013, not 1997. They have taken the cheap route with DSL and are paying for it.
