Fantastic apartment! Staff is very friendly. Lisa is one of the staff who was extremely helpful throughout the duration of my stay. Since Aspen has taken over, the complex has had a great turn around with exceptional upgrades and amenity improvements. There is gulf access via Gordon River and several walking/biking trails in the area. The complex is close to everything in Naples and is one of the most reasonably priced apartment complexes in the area. Wish I didn't have to move!
1. At approximately 2:15 A.M. on March 28, 2015, I awoke to the sound of the Collier County Sheriff's Department responding to a disturbance in unit 539. Approximately 15 minutes later, the whole community was roused when a drunk resident sped through the parking lot and destroyed several parked cars - one car was launched through the patio screen of unit 493 and came within inches of landing in that unit's living room. 2. I have had numerous plumbing issues in my unit, including a burst pipe and a sewage backup (separate incidents) that flooded my unit with waste water. 3. My air conditioning unit failed and required repair, but the maintenance was not performed timely. 4. The management company repainted the buildings in 2014 without specifically providing advance notice for the residents to move their cars, and as a result, several cars in the River Reach parking lot were covered with exterior paint overspray. 5.The gym reeks such that I have not dared to re-enter it since I took the initial tour. 6. The walls are so thin that I can literally hear my upstairs neighbor's cell phone alarm vibrating each morning - and I am partially deaf in one ear. The phone, most unfortunately, is not the only thing I can hear going on in that unit. 7. The new staff is surprisingly friendly, but profoundly incompetent. They couldn't even figure out which forms to provide me when I notified them that I, needless to say, would be terminating my lease.
I have lived in Naples my whole life and I recently decided to check out River Reach while looking to move. The new management company has really turned this place around. The renovations being performed look awesome so far and the office staff is so helpful and friendly. I can't wait to move in.

Not so bad at first, but a horrible long run stay. They charge for everything, even if you need a blind fixed. The appliances in the house are out dated and you only get new and improved appliances if you move out. They charge you through the roof for everything, absolutely everything. Before Aspen owned the place you could get decent service done on your apartment. Now it is like I own the place and they want me to fix everything. Also, their management will just come in your house at any time for any reason you do not even need to know they're coming. Another big factor is that they raise the price every lease you sign. I have been here for 16 months and leaving VERY soon but they charge us more than they charge the people off the street that they advertise to through their site. They do not take care of their customers all they do is complain and leave notices for upcoming changes and regulations. They charge for everything and do not care about their return customers all they see is profit. They charge for parking which is not permitted anymore, they charge for renters insurance on their apartment charges while at the same time they require you to sign up with a renters insurance company (aka they double dip because you pay them and the company). They're overall shady and if you go into the office they act like they care but at the end of the day they're the same as anyone else, just scummy and want their paycheck without worry about their customers. Absolute garbage! However, their service crew is pretty respectful and can be depended on. You can't even launch fireworks off on fourth of July without them wanting to kick you out. Just an overall joke. Try to avoid this scam of a company!!!!
