I love Lakeside Place Apts compared of any others in the surroundings areas. I don't what goes on the leasing office side, but my side of the apartments was quite. People mind their business, walk their dogs and are respectful. If you see anyone hanging out, more than likely, it’s on their patio; not in the middle of the street like a block party. In the summer is super fun and I would recommend this property to anyone. I REALLY hate that they went up on their prices, I would move back. I wish I would have renewed my lease a 3rd year. 3 years ago it was affordable and I was locked in my rate, but the new rates are depressing. Management is cool, don't like the turnover rate, but I pay my rent and mind my business so that's irrelevant who's in the office. I did see roaches time to time, but not a colony; maybe one or 2. Ask for them to exterminate, I recommend getting done every 6 months I miss my community maybe I'll come back after nursing school when I can afford it.
I have been living here a little over 6 months, and I haven't had any major issues so far and hopefully its stays that way especially on the reviews I have read. I have had service request that have not been addressed yet, so I recently went into the office on Tuesday and I seen new faces. Everyone seems nice and have not had any unprofessional service yet. I spoke with the "New Manager" yet once again. LOL. But she seems like she is going to take control and get things done and running right. Hopefully the new manger stays and gets this property up and running the way it should. Lets see what happens! I love the location and I am looking forward to renewing. Every apartment complex has their ups and downs. BTW Thursday Morning all my service request were addressed!!!!!
I would have to agree with many of the resent reviews.Ramin is the only saving grace of this place. We have lived here 5 years and the place got bought out about about a year or two ago.The new owners have lowered the bar in who they give a lease to. Everyone in our building has moved out. Paying for a parking spot is a waste of time since people will park in your space and the tow service doesn't tow after 7pm. Park at your own risk, my car is so banged up from people swinging their doors open and hitting my car. There is a police officer on call that will handle some of the crazy around here. The maintenance guys are good here just need to give them 1 thing at a time. There is no oversight on their work as far as I know. There are lights that need replacing all over the complex. There might as well not be a front gate on the place since the gate lets everyone in. They did install a camera at the gate so something must have happened. Management has tied notes to our door informing us to move or cars or be towed so they can re-stripe the parking lot and then not done it. They also installed a sprinkler system and never hooked it up (its been a year). At this time they are raising the rent about 25% to pay for new amenities. It might be worth it to move here in a few years once all of the upgrades are done to the units. We are not renewing our lease. Looking at the energy corridor instead. If they want to charge 1k for a 1 bedroom then some things need to change.
The reviews are absolutely correct. We've lived here for 2 years, and will not renew our lease again. I never really have an issue when I call the leasing office for something, they usually always pick up. The staff is good, but Juanita and Ramen stand out the most, they're awesome. Floor plans are HUGE and decently priced. BUT, we've had several floods in our unit, ruining most of our keepsakes, maintenance is great and arrive promptly, BUT GETTING THEM NOTIFIED TAKES FOREVER!!! I've got over 10 maintenance requests within the last year. I've called to request services repeatedly after doing the online request, and nothing happens. My neighbors are great, and I usually get a good parking spot as long as I'm home before 7 on a weekday, and 10 on a weekend. We don't have a huge issue with bugs, but I know in the spring we get the huge tree roaches(the ones you can HEAR crawl on the wall). Pipes have busted and it took a few days of complaining to have someone fix the mold, floors, ceilings, and walls, and there's still mold! I called 2 weeks ago about it and no one ever came. We can't use our ice-maker because no one wants to consume yellow ice. When we shower the temperature isn't regulated, it'll turn scorching hot during the best parts of the shower. I like the fact that I can smell what my neighbors are cooking, I've used that to add new spices to my foods- so that's a plus. Units are big enough for privacy, but small enough to monitor kids. It's relatively safe in this area, another plus. Dumbass people keep breaking the gates, but they're usually fixed within a day or two. They leave the gates open when it's really cold or raining. :) Dumbass people also speed through the complex, even though there's a speed limit CLEARLY posted upon entry. The only reason why we're leaving is because we're tired of our furniture being damaged with the frequent floods in our unit. THE MAILMAN IS SUPER GHETTO. He talks on his phone the whole time, and I'm tired of finding my mail OPEN. They're building a new fitness facility ( we won't be here to take advantage of it), they built a dog park, and upgraded the kids park. They've done more upgrades for the community than the last owners did. People are usually modest, and don't make too much noise during the weeknights. It's really not a bad place to live....
