Please do not move-in to this apartment complex. I had to put a very large deposit down, not a problem...However, MONTHS after i moved out, I had to ask them to send me my move out form to see why I didn't receive any of my security deposit back. I wasn't expecting the whole thing, i mean c'mon, i have a dog so obviously a cleaning crew needed to get in there but, even after doing the math, subtracting all of the clean up fees and what not, there is still $800.00 owed to me. It's because they didn't even have the right security deposit amount calculated on my move out form. I called to let them know about this small error, they said they would ''check my file'' and call me back. I mean, do you need the file? Because I have it right here. It's the lease you guys had me sign the moment i moved in... it says it right there. They have been dodging me for almost two months now. Not calling me back, ignoring my e-mails completely.I mean, seriously? The building and location was awesome (aside from the parking), but i'd never recommend living here to anyone.

Horrible-Horrible-Horrible, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!! I got sold on upscale living an all the amenities at the Milano Apts. The Staff, could care less about anything that takes place here *heated pool has been broken since 6/5/13 , today is 6/25/13 of course the part to fix has been ordered. *the hallways only get vacuumed twice a month, I moved in on 3/15/13, only seen them vacuumed twice??? *The trees, dangerously unmanaged. *insects…irresponsible pet owners, the not manicured landscape, lazy maintenance staff. *one 2 year tenant, due to her moldy water that the management/maintenance did NOTHING about, now has Asthma I could go on and on…just don’t fall for the leasing agents used car sales pitch!

I have lived here since July 2010. Since then I have had cockroaches 4 times. what an inconvenience. Call management to tell them and their response is "I will set you up an appointment with Dewey Pest Control" O really? Why thank you, so that I can box up my entire kitchen cabinets and bath room cabinets for the 4th time... wow that's your solution for my ongoing problem? How about you start with exterminating the entire building instead of just spraying individual apartments when someone calls to complain, bc clearly they are coming from someone else, if this is the 4th time I have had them... Maybe I should just live out of boxes since I have to pack up and un pack so often. Do not move in here unless you like bugs, loud neighbors, a heated pool thats not heated, a hot tub that is usually cold, broken cheap gym equipment, and rude management.

I've renewed my 12 month lease here after considering many other complexes that matched these criteria: 1. must allow large dogs 2. heated swimming pool 3. fully equiped fitness center I looked at other places in Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Play del Rey, Playa Vista, and Marina del Rey. Not a single place could match the price per ammenities that I could get here at Milano. Management is great if you're a good renter. I've never had a problem with them and they've given me special consideration when renewing my lease. Maintenance is 24 hours and they came in the middle of the night once to fix my bathroom. The renovation is great! The kitchen appliances, cabinets, crown molding, etc. are all top notch. And trust me, I looked at plenty of other luxury apartments. No, these aren't the cheapest apartments around. But if you have specifc ammenities you're looking for (tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness center, basketball court, BBQ grills, billards, computer area, etc.) I'd consider Milano.
