I am in no way intentionally trying to persuade someone to not move here, this has been our experience for the two short months we have lived here, you can make your own decision. So, like I said, we have only been in our new apartment for about 2 months and are dead set on just paying the money to break our lease so we can move away from this horrible place. We read all the reviews before we moved in and can at this point honestly say, this apartment complex can be "ok" depending on where you live in the complex. We unfortunately live in the back by the tennis courts and it is horrible. I do not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice peaceful place to live. The office staff is nice but utterly useless if you have a problem. We have a neighbor next to us who lets their small child do whatever they want (including throwing balls, toys, or himself at the wall we share with them) at all hours of the night. And now we have a new neighbor below us who feels the need to blast his stereo all night long. We literally only get a few hours of sleep per night. The office staff says they will do something about it but it never gets better. Other residents around us pull into the parking lot with their car stereos so loud it will shake the walls in your apartment (this happens 24x7). I never knew living in Morrisville meant we were going to live in the "hood." Maintenance cannot fix anything right the first time. We spent the first month of living here having to hang all our clothes to dry because the maintenance staff could not properly identify exactly why the brand new dryer they provided us wouldn't dry cloths. In the morning there is garbage all over the grounds by our apartment. It will only look nice when you come to visit because they send their maintenance staff around picking up all the garbage early in the day. If you are lucky enough to get nice considerate neighbors, have nothing break in your apartment and live near the office, I think this could be a nice place. However, if you are unlucky like my husband and I have been, you need to run away from this place as fast as you can and don't bother wasting your money.
Have lived at Camden Westwood going on 4 years now. For the price and location- you can't beat it. Best things #1: Friendly office staff #2: Fast well-done maintenance requests & #3: Walking distance to Park West Village shopping center!
This community is small but very friendly and welcoming. The staff is great, always on the ball. Definitely get what you pay for which I think the amenities here are reallyy nice and we have an upgraded apartment and we just really can't complain!
It's been a year since we have been here and have also renewed our lease for continuing. We are pretty much happy with the community and the supporting staff. All issues and break fixes are addressed in a timely manner. The community and amenities are well maintained and managed with the club house, swimming pool and the car wash area. The community manager Andrea is very helpful and understanding.. You do hear the sound of the train around 3 to 4 times a day but there's nothing that can be done since the community is close to the railway tracks, but it never disturbed our sleep though. Overall a good place to live at with Park West at a walkable distance which has quite good options of dining , shopping and entertainment. It has been a good stay so far with no complains.
I'm a current resident going into my second year of the lease. No apartment commnity has done what Camden Westwood has for our apartment. They have a great maintenance team that responds within hours to your work orders and a manager that understands the needs of this here resident. I am so pleased at our decision to live under Andrea Estrella's management team. I will consider staying another year.
