I've lived here for 13 years, for the excellent schools for the boys at first, but as a bachelor I'm enjoying it even more. Sure there have been questionable years, it's rental living, not home ownership. The Management and Staff have been stable and VERY good. Sara Chapin takes pride in the complex and respects that people are LIVING here, not just "tenants." We all understand you cant make everyone happy and some just don't want to be, right? If you like the 12,000 Unit, 4 story complexes with parking structures, no storage, noise, potentially 30,000 dwellers (where you WILL be a "Number"), Then go for it! Many of us like it here where it's LOW DENSITY, peaceful, neighborly (if you choose), comes with a garage, and management and staff know you by name.
I've been living at Skyview for about 5 months now. Everything is going well. The office staff is always friendly. The parking was a bit frustrating for the first few months, however at the beginning of this month they introduced a new parking plan and it is working perfectly. We can come home late at night and have no problems finding a spot. You do get a private garage, but if you have a 2nd car this is very important. I haven't really used the pool or fitness center, but they seemed nice when I toured.
