This place was amazing when we first moved in under Paragon Properties, but has since gone down hill with the high turn over in the leasing office. We still only have 2 stove knobs in our kitchen and though we've notified the office about the rodents in our walls, there has been no action taken. I mean, as I type this message, there are literally rodents squeaking and fighting in the wall I'm facing. We've notified them about the beehives in our windows, no action taken. Just horrible customer service and a severe lack of urgency for resident issues. Maintenance doesn't leave notes when they enter your apartment anymore, so they come and go and there is no record. My advice is to proceed with caution with this place. If you have low expectations for renting, this is home. The location is great though!
I wanted to say living at Country Meadows has been a good choice. The office staff and maintenance have been very helpful when things needed to be done in my apartment. I am very pleased with the staff that they have on hand and I would refer my friends and family to live at this apartment. I have no concerns or issues that would cause me to say otherwise. I am a happy resident here and am hoping to continue living here for a long time.
I have lived here for 3 years. I love the property and the office staff. I like my neighbors... But maintenance is not the best. Maintenance can be prompt or hard to come by. What I don't appreciate is walking into the leasing center and the maintenance guy (the big tall one ---- Dennis) is sitting and chatting with leasing consultant. Is that your wife or something? Every single time I walk in there, he's living it up in there. Don't you have things to do?! I'm more than positive that there are work orders piling up because my stuff hasn't been taken care of since late February! There's only 3 of them. He's the only one who doesn't work. I am starting to wonder if they play favorites! Other people are getting things done and helped out, why not me?! I pay rent just like everyone else! Just do your job!!!
DO NOT LIVE HERE! This apartment complex only cares about you paying rent, they do not care about you as a resident. Everyone who works in office is incompetent and they ALL should be fired! Especially Danielle Terry she always give excuses how she's new and isn't sure how to do apart of her job. You were "NEW" 8 months ago you can't still not know what you're doing and use that same excuse! Also, calling for maintenance is a big issue with Country Meadows. They lie to you on the phone and make everything sound good. They tell you that someone from maintenance will be out as soon as they're available and then no one ever comes. You have to call the office back and they act as if you never called to report problems going on in your apartment. In general, the office staff NEVER DO FOLLOW UP CALLS OR COMMUNICATE WITH YOU. YOU WILL HAVE HALF DONE WORK ORDERS FOR DAYS WITH NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY IT IS NOT COMPLETE. But, They will call or leave letters on YOUR DOOR ABOUT PRICE HIKES OR OTHER USELESS INFORMATION. It's a problem when you see the "MAINTENANCE GUY" (Dennis) sitting in the office at the desk as if he is a leasing consultant kicking back having a good time on the computer but you never see him out in the apartment community fixing anything! HUGE PROBLEM! You're Maintenance, sir- not a LEASE CONSULTANT, GO FIX SOMETHING or pick up trash! You don't lease out apartments, why are you sitting down? There's high turnover in the leasing office and you never know who to contact when you are in need of help. It seems that office workers just write up flyers and price hikes up all day. The only thing the office workers do well is tell you that you owe some kind of fee (which, in most cases, you probably don't). They're QUICK to follow up with you about that. Although I paid my rent on time every month, I've seen what they do to other residents. The light outside my building has been out for months. It makes it hard to see my keys to enter into my building. The buildings makes loud noises from the pipes being old and management basically told me to deal with it. They said, " It's a 40 year old building. It is what it is. We can't do anything about that." I feel like this is information they should disclose in their ads. Last, but certainly not least...There are ANIMALS RUNNING AROUND IN MY WALLS THAT YOU CAN HEAR AT NIGHT WHILE YOU'RE TRYING TO SLEEP. When I told this to the leasing OFFICE, they nonchalantly said, "we will look into it." They told me that that the animals in the walls are probably raccoons, BUT I THINK THEY'RE RATS. I CAN HEAR THE RATS MAKING A SQUEAKY NOISE IN THE WALLS. SOMETIMES IT'S SO LOUD I HAVE TO LEAVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND STAY AT A FRIEND'S HOUSE. THIS APARTMENT IS UNLIVABLE. WHO EVER OWNS THIS PROPERTY NEEDS TO FIRE EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE AND START FRESH! PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU, DO NOT LIVE HERE! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD LIVING IN A APARTMENT.
This apartment sound great when you sign the lease but in reality it's been a nightmare living here. They don't care if you are safe or not. Everything in the apartment is breaking down. Maintence sucks here. Front office ladies seems lazy. They don't care if previous tenants have your building keys and home keys. They just say call the police.
