Having lived here nearly 2 years, it has been one of the worst experiences of any property I've stayed on. Previously living on an Aimco property, I should have known what to expect: poor guest/management relations, elevators always broken down, numerous expenses including "clean air" ( when it smells like an 90's hotel in the hallway) and ridiculous rent for having noise in the building constantly. I personally work nights, sleep into the afternoon, and with floors being redone and construction starting merely after I get a chance to fall asleep, my days are long and tiring. Having to pay nearly 1800 a month, including 100 a month for my support animal, I find this building to be ludicrous on the charges/guest satisfaction. The building management do not respond promtly. My a/c was out for 3 days, and not even an apology, or any attempt to compensate for an amenity i pay..also cooling charges and utility charges for the building?? Why should that come out of our pockets to pay for the business expenses? Every operating business has those expenses, but you dont see us getting charged to go into publix and paying their electric bills, except for the purchases we make I.e our rent. The maintenance staff are all kind, but with one only speaking english, it very much limits to just him in any situation I need, without frustration. The day I moved in, my mother got knocked out and rolled down the gate entry after following valet attendant to retrieve something out of her car, and the gate came down on her head. One thing after another, and that definitely was not a great way to start my loving experience here. I Will not be resigning a lease, nor will I recommend anyone to live on an Aimco property.
Hello, I have just moved into my apartment. And everything has been excellent so far, the management team was very flexible and helpful. All the amenities are in perfect condition and the location could not be better. In addition, for those who have furry friends Bay Parc plaza has its own grooming salon and a store to buy pet food. Im so happy I chose this place.
I am currently on my 4th lease at Bay Parc Plaza. I enjoy living here. I have a very comfortable apartment. Publix is within walking distance and makes things very convenient. The staff are amazing. The ladies in the leasing office are always friendly, helpful, and ready to listen. Maintenance is impeccable and work is always completed quickly. Overall, a great place to live.
The Location is fantastic. The management team is rude and have a false sense of self entitlement. The maintenance team is very nice and friendly but often late to respond. Parking is a joke, no actually its horrible and there is nothing funny about it. The people in the building are not nice. there are several small dogs and many more small hearts. If you've ever been on an elevator and said "hello", or "have a nice day", and gotten nothing but blank stare or a rude look in return, than you have been in Bay Parc Plaza. The jacuzzi was broken over two thirds of the three years that I lived there. (thats over two years for those of us who don't often refine their math skills) Oh and if you ever want to get a package delivered to you while working there. Just remember there is a chance that you wont be the first person to open it, speaking from experience.
I loved the location of this apartment, but that was all that it had going for it. I very much disliked the staff in the leasing office, they were rude and not helpful to their residents. All they cared about was how they could take your money. I lived in Bay Parc for a year and when i signed the lease i asked "Is this the amount I will pay monthly?" and they lied and said Yes. Every month my bill got increasingly more expensive with "garage parking tax", "utilities" (I already paid utilities with FPL) "cooling fees" (this should be a business expense because it was to keep their leasing office air conditioned) and the list goes on. There were many HIDDEN FEES after signing the lease. During our lease, we asked if we bought a motorcycle, would we have to pay for an extra parking spot since we were already paying for a double parking spot and it would fit in that spot without obstructing anyone else's space. They told us that there would not be any parking fees for a motorcycle or a moped, so we went out and bought the bike. A couple of months later, they notified all residents that they were now charging a $45/month fee for each motorcycle/moped that you owned and if you do not register it with the leasing office, it would be towed. WHAT THE F...... Now if that isn't down right messed up, than i don't know what else is. I have so many other examples of why you should not rent here, but i am sure that they have already been mentioned in other reviews, so please read them. The reviews with 5 stars are most likely from Bay Parc's marketing team because there is no way that anyone who has actually lived here would give it a raving 5 star review. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Your money is better spent elsewhere and you can get a lot nicer of a place with the amount of rent this crappy place is charging.
