My name is Eduardo, I want to start by bagging everyone that reads this to NOT MOVE HERE The office staff is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, the phone teller (SADE) she is never in a good mood very rude and never has the right answer very (under skilled customer service) provider and I understand that most of her calls are complains but if they provided a better service she wouldn't get as many of them... and I have been living here for the past 2 years I have encountered all kinds of bad situation as of( 20 days without light on my living room dining room hallway and kitchen and after they finally came to fix it the guy wired it to where I could not turn the lights off literally a joke...) if you can help do not move here!!!
When i moved in (note 2% of my maintenance request were followed through) the carpet was full of dog hair, in the kitchen there is a gap between the stove and dish washer which is full of the previous owners dried up food, there is a punch sized hole in my dining room wall that was never attended to, in the kitchen there is a hole in the corner underneath the bottom cabinet in which maintenance stuffed with plastic bags instead of properly filling in, the tub is in crappy condition, rusty medicine cabinets, bathroom vent is screwed shut, these walls are one hell of a patchwork. the building is on one hot water tank (the owner at the time told me), so good luck having a convenient hot shower. also during the winter months the water would sometime be brown. ROACHES!! No matter how much i personally spray or get the complex to, they will not go away (i clean and bleach everything. Nothing helps). Let me not forget that when my furnace which is located in a small closet right behind my headboard (divided by a wall) caught on fire with flams burning wires and the wall, i reported it and the lady in customer service at the Time, she yelled at me for opening the closet. Wtf, was i suppose to just die in my sleep? I am 100% looking forward to putting in my 60 day notice and moving out NOVEMBER 2015! Note, during my walk through day, the office opened and hour after my scheduled appointment. There was no call to inform me, just a note on the office door. Which of course meant i had 20 minutes to go over and sign my lease, quickly look at the apartment for the first time and get to work. Horrible. Update: I wanted to write two reviews but it would not let me. December 31, 2015 I was scheduled to move out of my apartment. I was told that the office was going to be open. Called them a day in advance as well to make sure everything was still good for the 31st to turn everything in and to do my walk though. This morning, I go to the office and they have a sign saying that they will be closed 31-1st. So, where was the communication with this sudden decision? The situation is highly inconvenient. I am moving over 150 miles away and will have to drive all the way back to do something that was scheduled for today. SMH . Better believe I called corporate. 3 management companies later and this place is still unprofessional, inconvenient and not worth the rent amount.
Please do not move here... They keep changing management like undies and nothing changes. Most people moved in due to the convinient location but everything has a limit. Its a sector 8 perhaps lower. Roaches drunk idlers in parking lot. Vomit on steps, dog poop all over argh!!! I have neighbors who broke the lease in a month!!! I dont think i can wait either till the end of mine am getting out.. Do not say we didn't warn you... There is much better across the street and in the area.
I'm new to the area and was in the market for an affordable apartment, I looked at ashford retreat, ashford 75, and both got bad reviews on Google. The management company called me back in reference to that ashford retreat, I asked him about the negative reviews and he said that the building was under new management and ownership, the question I asked was when did the new management take over, he stated a month ago. I explained that I was not interested in a place that had that many negative reviews, he assured me that they have been making improvements. I had a property management company prior to moving to Atlanta and all I have to say is that I would not rent at a place like this.
This has been the worst experience!!! Roaches roaches ROACHES!!!!! I clean like crazy and doesn't make a difference. I have been so stressed out this whole year because if it wasn't the roaches it was the mold on the ceiling, carpet, flooded hallway from a busted AC unit that nobody seems to know how to fix. Not to mention that the whole building is being run off with only one hot water heater, so expect to lose hot water and also water pressure when somebody else's taking a shower. And during the winter is the worst because the water is orange. The apartment itself is not safe in fact that just last month a woman was raped in her apartment and by From a resident that lived in here!!! Nobody was made aware. I had to find out watching the news!!! Staff has no idea what's going on and now I'm being told my 350 deposit was a fee and is nonrefundable. My lease is up next month. Thank god, but seriously stay awayyyyyy!!!!!
