Recently moved to Washington state, toured LOTS of places around Issaquah, Redmond, Kirkland, and Bellevue. In the end, we did NOT choose Estates at Cougar Mountain because it was a bit too much commute, but it broke our hearts to let it go. Of all the places we toured, this staff were among the most impressive - they were so welcoming and responsive (we toured multiple floor plans during multiple visits). The place was gorgeous, felt like a vacation home, and the floor plans were interesting without being inefficient. It was one of the few places that looked even better in person than it did online. When I first called to set up our visit, my call went to some central switchboard off site, which wasn't real helpful or informative, but I'm so glad we decided to visit in person anyway. We may end up here once we're more used to the area and have a better idea of how to handle the commute. We were very impressed.
I have lived here going on 3 years. I love it, we have had problems with neighbors but nothing like other places full of young adults or small children. Parking sucks but its all about perspective. In the end its quiet, clean and we love the staff on both the front desk team and maintenance. They have dogs so watch your step in the grass but thats just people sucking, there are dog poop stations all over the property. The apartments have tall ceilings, gas everything, and we don't even use the heat because the apartments are so well insulated.
I lived there for a year, VERY unprofessional. When we decided not to renew our lease on of the office decided she wanted to move into the unit we were moving out of, there were multiple occasions she would "just stop by".
Not at all sure where the negative reviews are coming from. This is perhaps the most professionally managed, best maintained leasing community on the East side. Facilities are top notch, they have a monthly community get together in the club house, where the management serves snacks or more, at Thanksgiving it is a full turkey dinner. Nothing put good things to say about the place. DJR
