Unfortunately, this apartment building is quite terrible - minimal support (no 24 hour support, mailroom has short hours), unsafe (attempted kidnapping in the building, several unsecured entrances), dirty building (dogs urinating in hallways). The people in the offices are nice enough, but I would recommend staying away from this building.
I've lived here 3.5 years and can't complain. This place is unmatched and I have searched on multiple occasions to see if I can find anything better. No luck. It's an amazing place with more amenities than anyone needs. The worst thing I've seen happen is some lazy tenant deliberately clogged the garbage shoot. The staff had it fixed in a day. There's a reason the occupancy rate of this 350-unit complex is over 98% right now.
This has been the worst managed building I have ever lived in. The building has been sold since we moved in, and the new owners idea of building management is a team of "stipperella's" with 6 inch platform heels that have no clue how to manage a property, the rights of tenants, or legally how they are supposed to keep personal information. Several times now they have reached out to our emergency contacts in no emergency, misplaced our mail and packages, and broken tenant right laws. Today is the icing on the cake. We were walking down our halway to see a letter to our unit WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION on the ground in the hallway several doors down from our unit. It seems they have yet again misplaced something in our file and require us to immediatly replace it. Repairs do not get fixed.. . that pool, hot tub and BBQ pits that they show you on the tour.. . .don't get your hopes up that you might actually get to use those while living here. If you love having the full building fire alarm go off for 10 minutes at a time once a week, you may find this place charming. If that is the case, you will just LOVE the gate alarms thet they let go off all night on a regular basis when the gates that give you access to come and go from the building break.. . again.. . and again.. . .and yet again. Needless to say, they have totally mised the fact that "luxury" living has a customer service aspect to it whihc should include proper repairs and care for the building, and a management office that can manage the building. Unless you are looking to be talked down to by office staff at every possible encounter for customer service, this place is void of it. DON"T MOVE HERE!
My experience was very bad. Attention in the office is very bad. The manager is always locked in his office with a friend drinking wine and does not serve anyone. Robbery in the parking lot. Much noise and dirt for the construction of the subway line. I do not recommend anyone ever live in that place.
