When I first visited Beachway Links, I thought it was a great community. The staff was friendly and professional and the apartments were upgraded. After putting my application in, however, I was told I needed to sign a lease within a week for a move in date over a month away while I was moving between cities with no leeway. In reading through the lease I had questions about signing blank inventory forms (where management could write their own prices upon move out) and signing a form about agreeing to cable (an extra $49.00 a month) when I didn’t want to add cable. When I questioned management about these and the sign within a week rule I was told “it’s just policy” and “that’s in the lease”. When Stephanie, the manager, emailed me back she was rude, unprofessional, and seemed uninterested in answering my questions, telling me that if I had questions at all I must not understand the wording of the lease. I asked to speak with her manager, so a day later I received a phone call from a Danny Petroff who is from corporate and said he was a co-owner of the company. While on the phone with him about the lease questions I had, he told me I asked too many questions and never in his 15 years of working has he had someone have an issue with legal documents that they’ve taken to court and had evictions processed with. I will make it very clear that I didn’t intend to change the documents; rather I wanted clarification on the policy and why I was signing a blank form that management could change at any time with my signature already on it. He talked over me, raised his voice, and called me names. I was told that in the leasing office their job is to lease apartments and handle resident issues, their job did NOT include answering my numerous questions. I didn’t even finish the application process before realizing how unprofessional and unhelpful management was.
Love the new pool area with barbeque grill! My apartment is spacious and comes with a full size washer and dryer. Highly recommend Update: been here awhile and have to say I'm still in love with my place. I have met some new people and really feel at home.
