I wish I had read the reviews before I moved in here. The gate never works, the key card system never works so using the gym is out of the question unless you don't work a normal 9-5 job, office staff changes every six months, they up you rent every time your lease ends, they'll send you a letter saying the water will be shut off, and it gets shut off 2 days later than the letter said with no notice. It took them 2 MONTHS to fix my AC which is considered an emergency in the state of Florida, and fed me crap about how "we're short staffed." With the rent being increased, they started upgrading counter tops, lights etc. in the apartments, when I resigned my lease I didnt get so much as a " can we clean your carpets? Or install the new counter tops?" I have NONE of the upgrades in my apartment, but I'm still paying the price of it. Not to mention they painted the buildings, and they guys they hired didn't speak very much english, and weren't very bright. Instead of painting building by building, they did color by color. We received a notice saying they would be painting, however painting by colors, a month after the notice was received, they painted my door frame. There were no wet paint signs anywhere, and we received no further notices. My keys fell into my door, got wet white paint all over them, my clothes, and my black truck. I spoke to the office manager and he spoke to the company manager, and all he did was wipe the paint off, no apology, and nothing for my trouble. I would never live here again.
Run, don't walk, away from this place. We moved to this place not knowing the Tampa area well and had to make a decision quickly about where to live. The biggest issue is the office staff, Jazmin especially. Our unit was not ready on move-in day. Maintenance people were in our unit doing various stuff at the same time movers were moving stuff in. The maintenance people said they had been informed the day before we were moving. This was just the beginning of the joke of an office staff. We had no problem with the maintenance people the year we were there. Office staff. Not so. Communication is clearly lacking between them and with the residents. Here are some examples in no particular order. When there was going to be major maintenance going on that affected many, they leave a notice late in the day the day before and tell people to prepare accordingly. A couple months before we moved, they issued gate passes because they were "fixing" the gate. Two months later it was ready to go and the office staff sent out a notice telling people how to use the security code keypad. No mention how and when to use the keycard. I went in to talk to the office staff. Jazmin became very defensive and practically scolded me. She stated that a notice had been sent two mobths earlier. I tried to reason that they needed to communicate better with residents as they didn't address how and when to use the cards. Many, MANY other office incompetence issues too numerous to mention. The final kicker was being charged $200 for new carpeting and $100 for pet deodorizing. After we moved out, we had the carpet professionally cleaned and deodorized. It looked great! So to get a bill saying we needed to pay for new carpet and deodorizing was really upsetting. If they had to replace the carpeting, why the need for pet deodorizing? (Not that it smelled). Knowing I could not deal with the office staff, I went to the propery management's web site. All the pages were completely blank except for an error message that people outside the U.S. were not permitted to browse their site. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint.
lived there for a bit over a year, no issues. Fast maintenance resolutions and got most of my $1000 deposit back. No idea why its got so many bad reviews, i lived there from nov 2014 to feb 2016 and had nothing but a positive experience.
Nothing gets done, many outdoor lights STILL not working, front gates have NEVER worked, office staff changes every few months, million dollar renovation" has stopped (rumor on the street is company ran out of money and in financial hardship), and the maintenance staff is .... well, like everything else here, without leadership or accountability. The complex COULD be simply beautiful, but due to the erratic nature of the office staff, and the funds being dried up, its simply poorly, poorly managed. As a famous political candidate would say, "its a disaster". I hope they get their act together, but it seems very unlikely. Maybe , just maybe, they need new, younger leaders at the top who would bring modern best practices and innovative leadership styles to the company. Until significant changes are made, I'd NOT recommend this complex as a place to live.
Worst place to live in Brandon area. Fitness enter is closed since 4 month until further notice. Seems like Fitness centre is for Blue rocks maintenance people only as they are good in office and never work on any ticket. Car care centre , gate etc. ..never works ,Maintenance people never turns up. No pest control , no cleaning .. Be aware of Blue rock people , they are cheater , their rates vary from person to person. They always seconded to everyone.Stay away from worst community , do not get lured with million dollar upgrade hoardings !! That’s all fake There is no negative rating otherwise they deserve -1.
