Worst place to live in Brandon area. Fitness enter is closed since 4 month until further notice. Seems like Fitness centre is for Blue rocks maintenance people only as they are good in office and never work on any ticket. Car care centre , gate etc. ..never works ,Maintenance people never turns up. No pest control , no cleaning .. Be aware of Blue rock people , they are cheater , their rates vary from person to person.They always seconded to everyone.Stay away from worst community , do not get lured with million dollar upgrade hoardings !! That’s all fake There is no negative rating otherwise they deserve -1.

There are plenty of better options in the Brandon area. Listen to the reviews about this place. The only reason I didn't was because of amount of time I had to find a place to stay. Unfortunately this was the only apartment complex that had what I was looking for during the time I needed. The area is a great place to live but does not make up for the way this place is run. First issue, ants! Two days after I fill up my pantry, I found I had guest over for breakfast lunch and dinner. Notified them of the problem and they sent the pest guy out. It fixed the problem for about two weeks. Needles to say, the pest guy and I became really close due to the fact that he was always needing to come by. Second issue, the neighbors must have had some kind of plumbing issue which became my issue. My carpets were wet and my computer desk was ruined due to the water damage. All they did was bring in a fan to dry it up. Afterall, they are not responsible for any damage to your property caused by them or not. (Read your contract ). Third issue, goes along with my first two, I repeatedly asked that nobody enter my apartment without my knowing or simply receiving a phone call first due to my work schedule and the fact that I have a dog. I tend to sleep during the day because I work nights and being woken up by someone almost getting bit by my dog is not a great way to wake up. The pest guy learned quick and started knocking before he just barged in. (The maintenance guys didn't) Fourth issue, I only signed a 7 month lease due to the reviews so i didn't want to be committed to this place for any longer just in case the reviews were true. Thank goodness I went that route, but they had me down for a 15 month lease went I went to give a notice I was not going to renew. They wanted me to pay an extra two months for not giving them a longer notice for a mistake they did. Thankfully one of the managers realized it was their mistake and voided the extra two months. Issue number 5, I was attempting to speak to management about some concerns, but nobody was in the office. They had a sign stating when they would be back so I waited. I waited 30 minutes after the time they were suppose to be back, but nobody showed up. Turns out, someone was inside the whole time sitting at their desk. (I decided to go around the pool area and noticed them when I came to another door) I know they heard me knock and definitely saw me. I went back around to the main door that the gentleman had just walked out of and it was locked, again! The only good thing about living there was the location, but as I mentioned earlier, there are plenty of apartments near by.

We've lived in our unit for all of 5 days and have had a not so great start on this venture. The unit fits our needs and is the layout that we have been looking for. I became extremely frustrated during our search for a new home and was pleasantly surprised by the amenities in the units and community at Dorchester. It was everything that we were not finding in the many places we saw and instantly became our choice for where we wanted to reside. Unfortunately, our move-in has not been a pleasant experience. The unit was not sufficiently prepared for us to comfortably move us and our things in. I won't delve into the plethora of issues that we had, but there were many things that was clearly overlooked by the maintenance staff and, in my opinion, the office staff because they should have done a walk-through of the unit to ensure that it was adequately prepared for our move-in date. The two major things that were not done are what I will mention. Firstly, there are no doors on either of the bedrooms in the unit. We were told that they would be here Monday and then told that they would be here shortly. Either way, that is something that should have been taken care of prior to us moving in. Secondly, we had a number of appliances that did not properly work, which made moving and living in the unit uncomfortable. The AC did not work for a full day and the washer had some issues that supposedly are due to using it. While there were other aesthetic issues, my main concern was with the functionality of things in the unit. For a property that prides itself on being the best in the business, there was very little effort put into ensuring that we were welcomed into a home that was, both, aesthetically appealing and fully functional. We sent an email to the office manager, who responded very quickly and apologetically. However, the corrections that were supposed to be made by maintenance was subpar or nonexistent. We were offered an equally miniscule deduction on the rent for February and I don't have any hopes of things being resolved to my standard. It is extremely undortunate for us because I absolutely love the unti and space it provides for us. My perception of the quality of service that will be provided to us from here on out has been tainted though. My advice for anyone wanting to rent here is to see the unit prior to moving in to ensure that everything works and you are comfortable with the work that has been completed. The community is great, otherwise, thus far and we have met some really great neighbors. I am truly saddened that everything wasn't as smooth of a transition for us.

I went to this apartment complex , in hopes to have them on the top of my list to lease . For one I heard great news about them , and I worked with someone who leased with them before . However once I entered the leasing office / welcome center , I was greeted directed into Rachel the leasing consultant office . I told her I was interested in a one bedroom , one bathroom , available mid April . She went over the pricing and gave me a sheet of paper with the floor plans on them , however she really didn't engage in any conversation with me about the apartment . Then the next thing she tells me is , we're not showing apartments today because of the weather . I couldn't even see a model . I was shocked and chuckled a little bit because I honestly thought it was a joke . Mind you it was a little chilly today , and the wind was blowing but the sun was out . However this is Brandon/Tampa. I could see if it was a snow blizzard , tropical storm , and hurricane going on outside then I would have understood . I wasn't even offered to see pictures of the model, you would have thought since you were not going to take me to the model that a picture of it would have been nice . I feel that she didn't care and was not interested in the fact that I wanted to lease with them. After this experience that made me reconsider them as a option .

Absolutely disgusting place to live!!! God forbid you live on the 1st floor, the whole place is infested with millipedes. I had them send the pest control out and was told that there is absolutely nothing that they can do about it. Spoke to plenty of neighbors who had the exact same problem. I would wake up every morning with at least 10 to 20 millipedes crawling everywhere...up the walls, in the bed, everywhere. They come up through the floor from under the carpet, crawl into every crack and crevice of your apartment, then die. It was absolutely disgusting and there was nothing they could or would do about it. It was so disgusting, I was embarrassed to have anybody come over to my place. Unless you like the idea of waking up with millipedes crawling on your face, stay far away from this place!!!
