Let me tell you about what I'm going through here. The place is all nice and happy when you sign lease, but then it goes bad. I am trying to get out of my lease. I found someone to take it over, pay the ENTIRE REMAINING AMOUNT (3 Months) And they said she was not qualified. THE THING WOULD BE PAID OFF!!!! They hold you hostage and will do NOTHING to let you out of your lease. I have to move for my job and am now stuck. If I break the lease? More expensive than paying off the remainder of it.
One of the nicer complexes and definitely, the better location for east of the metro area. Most of the residents are polite, and keep to themselves. Haven't lived in an apt setting for many years and I feel my research bringing me here was worth it (this is the WORST time to be a renter in Denver now and junkie places are overcharging) The water bill is something to be desired, I've read that all over on other reviews. For one person, it's more than what I paid at my old 900sf with a large, watered yard in the summertime. But, that is the only real issue. The complex is near a gorgeous golf course and large creek with a ton of space to walk your dogs. With that, you have to expect a bug or two, so get over yourselves with the "infested" comments. Since I'm still a resident, I'll keep any move out comments for when, and if, I do. Until then, I suggest reminding you that this area is nice and can remain that way if you take pride in knowing you are living in a close quartered community... and pick up after yourselves. Apt living doesn't mean you're entitled to a maid service.
Absolutely aweful. It was a great place to live until they made a switch in ownership. Ever sense then I have had problems with their auto pay system. When I try to pay rent by check they have lost the check twice. I have also been broken into and I have also had issues with the complex maintenance. I am so excited to be moving away at the end of the month. Do not live here...
The staff is great until you rent an apartment, then they treat you like crap. We had to move out early because someone tried to break into our apartment at 2am while we were home. We have 4 kids and they didnt feel safe. We had the police report and everything but they wouldn't let us out of our lease. They tried to take us to court saying we owed 7,000$ which was crap. They wouldn't work with us. The parking lot was a mess along with the grounds. People didn't pick up their pets mess and teenager were stealing off peoples porches. My son's bike was stolen and they would not do anything about it. Snow removal was a joke. People had keyed our car and dented the entire drivers side. Horrible place to rent from.
We lived at Sonoma Resort for 3 years. The experience was good until the last 6 months of us living there. We had a newborn little girl. She was about 1 month old and we kept finding little red spots on her. We took her to the doctor and he said it was a reaction to a certain type of bug. My wife and I are the cleanest people I know and bugs are the last thing we ever thought of. Upon getting home I took a flashlight and looked at the floorboards. I quickly got some tweezers and a plastic bag and caught 15 bugs and took them to the office. The person immediately said "Oh it looks like carpet Beatles". She knew exactly what they were because they are infested with them. We found them all over the apartment. It effects baby and small children skin not so much adults. Having to get a new bed and countless days of going to the laundry mat and drying every piece of clothing we had for hours to kill all the bugs was a NIGHTMARE!!!! Don't fall for the line "we took care of everything" because they have not. DO NOT MOVE THERE!!!!
