I love the staff. They are fabulous. I give the staff 5 stars. It is the thin wall that cannpt protect your privacy. I could hear my downstair and my next door neighbors. They are decent neighbors. I know they are not even making the noise purposely. But the wall is so thin, we could hear eveything. For example, the couple downstair were "busy". It was so clear and so awkard. I had to tell my kids the neighbor are foreigners and practicing "R" sound.
We have 2 little kids and are living on the middle floor of a three story building, everyone should know that living in apartments there will have to be some sacrifices made as far as neighbors go and respecting everyone around you in the building, but nothing that will make me give these apartments a bad review. We like it here, we take care of our apartment and there have been no issues for as long as we have been here. Love the amenities and all that they have to offer, I think its a great place to live in.
Update!! After being here for close to six months, I would not renew my lease, parking is horrible and IF you are in need of a handicapped space; for get it!! They have already eliminated many of the "code required handicap spaces" and those that are left are taken up by those needing parking with no sticker add in Zero enforcement your out of luck!!. in addition add five cars associated with a single unit and as many as eight or more people in a unit you have a mess. Fife is still fife. Pass this by. Original message: I am new to WA from CO and I have looked at a lot of apartments in and around Tacoma and for access to I-5, the amenities and the price, Bella Sonoma is by far the very best community in this area. I highly recommend this for your new home.
This is long but I strongly suggest reading it. I lived at Bella Sonoma for just over a year. Beautiful Apartments, but extremely over-priced. The Staff I dealt with when I moved in were fairly good in early-mid 2011. However, I was looking to move immediately and I feel like I wasn’t given all the proper info before moving in. The management changed in late 2011 or early 2012. I had lived there for a year and my best friend came up in the summer to visit. It was very busy in the pool/Jacuzzi area. We were sitting with our feet in the Jacuzzi when a female associate came outside walked the entire area and looked around. She came back to me and my friend and asked if we lived there. I replied shocked, "Yes." She continued to question me about which building and apartment. I was embarrassed and upset. My friend was also shocked knowing I had lived there for so long. That is a small portion of why I didn't like living there. The main reason is that when I moved out, my mom who owns her own house cleaning business came up and we cleaned for an entire day after I moved everything out. WE CLEANED EVERYTHING, oven, fridge, porch, storage closet, even shampooed the carpets!!! The apartment looked spotless and the man that checked me out said it looked awesome. It was near move in ready minus a couple regular wear spots on the walls that needed to be painted which they are supposed to do anyway. Yesterday I received a letter from a collection agency for almost $600. I never received any letter or notice from Bella Sonoma that I owed them money. They kept my $400 deposit and now I owe more. I am beyond upset and would warn everyone that these people will scam you. There is NO WAY that there was $1000 worth of damage to that apartment. Maybe replace the blinds and some small things. I wouldn’t be upset if they kept my deposit. I go into a place never excepting to get that money back. But being charged for things I am unaware of... I still have no idea what these charges are. I called to talk to a manager and there was no one available. Just Terrible.
Affordable, friendly and worth your buck!
