This has been the worst apartment I have ever lived in. It is cheap to live here because it is a cheap building and company. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU-----they advertise a FREE MONTH RENT- however they make you sign a lease for 13 MONTHS. YOU ARE GETTING NOTHING FOR FREE. There are so many problems with these buildings- one they are not level. Whoever built these obviously do not know what a leveler is. People put pennies in the door so it does not lock, therefore, letting anyone and everyone in the building. Someones car got broken into in my lot one night, it is not a good neighborhood. The intercoms do not work, so anytime you have guests or food delivery you have to walk to the main door. Want to send out mail? Oh, you have to drive to the leasing office just to drop something off and have it sit in a very reachable basket until the mail comes. The laundry is a joke, they recently replaced all buildings washer and dryers (3 of each- in each building) and the laundry increased from $1.25 per wash/dry to $1.50 per wash/dry. You would think more energy efficient machines would make it less expensive. I was told when I moved in that the apartment had all new paint- but when you looked at the living room compared to the kitchen, you could tell the kitchen was not painted because it was an un-natural yellow color. The laminate in the kitchen is torn up and has all kinds of food and whatever from previous tenants. You could tell they did not clean at all when the last person moved out to when I moved in. In the bathroom- there is still a pile of dirt and hair from previous tenant pushed into a little nook between the door and the wall that they did not clean up. Overall- this apartment is the worst. From the view to the noisy neighbors and busy road that keeps you up at night, to the uncleanliness of it all and how little the staff cares. There are many other places out there to live, do not settle for this place because it is easy, I regretted moving into the Fairways 2 months after. I cannot WAIT to not live here anymore.
their apt are not check thoroughly after other tenants move out and some room dont have a hard cable connect to the wall so no internet and cable tv
I have lived here for close to two years now. I love the location of my apartment which is at 2325 Traceway. I don't have anyone complaining about my son who has Autism, and at times for no reason he will let out a loud sound that mimics a desperate cry for help. The pool is nice in the summer, but some strays try to enter with no pool pass. Up to us tenants to fix that issue. I wish somewhere between these buildings there could be a park for the children to play on. I guess that would bring more harm then good, because some tenants might think of it as a place for to let their dogs run around. That is also the down fall to staying here. Many of the tenants walk their pets without a leash. Really I never had known technology has advance to reading the mind of an animal. My son Autism has him cooing dogs from a distance, but getting close will have him running for his life. I do however since my knees are bad, must not give up my search for the Apartment of my dreams were I can either have a washer and dryer hook up, or have one in the unit. Need to wash a few clothes now, but no money until the end of the week. I have a 2 bedroom, and 2 bath which is quite nice. They are reasonable with repairs, but mostly patch up work, some satisfy the area and makes the apartment inhabitable while if I was owner I would gut and redo it correct. Just can save a lot doing it correct the first time around. Unlike most other landlords who wants to even apply the 3 times the rental rate law to section 8 recipients that will so not be the case here which was a blessing in disguise. I just need to find something that would be closer to the school my son is attending, or close to another great school.
