The best thing these apartments have is the size...but the customer service is horrible, it takes a long time to get things fixed, and sometimes the ticket is closed without the work getting done. When I first moved in, they didn't want to change the stained carpet, but had a cleaning company to come in to "ensure" it was clean stains, and they painted the cabinets as a compromise. I've asked for the vents to be cleaned, took 3 tickets before that was resolved, had maintenance come to look at garbage disposal 3x, have asked multiple times fur the shower to be fixed, and then they misplaced christmas packages..and told me it was a courtesy to have usps leave packages in the office. The packages were there on the 18th, I've called about them 3x before Christmas looking for them because usps provided confirmation that they were delivered..they found them on the 26th, I asked for them to put package at my door and they said they were "unwilling" to do so..so now I'll have to mail packages that have been in the office since the 18th. These are just SOME of the complaints...if you move here, Beware!
DON'T MOVE HERE! This experience was a nightmare. The process was very sloppy. They requested paper work very last minute after a whole month. I got all the paper work they requested then on move in day they informed me they made an clerical error. They wouldn't make an exception on their part. I was sitting there with moving trucks and delivery trucks. I had given my place up now had no where to move NIGHTMARE as a single parent. DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
The grounds were well maintained and the pool area is nice. That ends all that is right with Sutton Place Move in condition was horrible. Dirty worn carpet, a stove so bad....elements had to be replaced and I spent hours cleaning the stove hood. None of the cabinets had cleaned , kitchen drawer took 3 attempts before being fixed . Patio was a tripping hazard full of weeds Bathroom shower had mold, they sent maintenance who caulked over the mold. The shower itself ...was broken. It took 5 visits to install a new door and repaint walls The cheap flat paint on the walls discouraged washing because it came off The front door had a cracked in it wide enough to see outside....after 2 failed attempts to fix it we finally got another door. One more trip to seal the door When speaking to Margin the property manager about using a rustoleum paint on the metal stair railing, she informed me ....If I were unhappy, my lease was nearly up....I understood what she meant. Great Customer Service DON'T DO IT! ! LOOK FURTHER!!
Not worth the RENT. Neighborhood is similar to inner city Detroit
