Having lived at Northridge Apartments for over a year and a half now, I can say I have never been happier!! Everything has been great living here. The office staff is extremely helpful. Steve and Andrew are a phenomenal force to be reckoned with. Any problem you have, they will do everything in their power to resolve it. They know the property in and out, along with the local community. It is an excellent property if you decide to go to DVC, since it is such a short distance away. No one ever bothers me here or ever has, and the thick walls between apartments act as a nice sound barrier. I never have, or had, any noise complaints with my neighbors or others. The apartment I live in is extremely spacious and has ginormous closets. I also have an in-unit washer/dryer, what's to complain about! My neighbors are also friendly. The maintenance team is always on top of their game, and always fixes your problems that may happen in your apartment. Mauricio and Leon are excellent at their job. They are extremely friendly and always explain to you what the problem was if you want them to, or if you can avoid it happening in the future. Overall I have been very satisfied living here! They really are the best apartments you can find in the greater Pleasant hill/ Martinez/ Concord area! I highly recommend this community to those looking to study at DVC. The majority of residents are students here, so you will feel right at home knowing you are surrounded by fellow students. Mind the woman who posted the one star review here... Teschanna Green. Her quarrel with the office staff is unjust. Every apartment community honors the lease agreement; it's California law. If you are weary someone might be a bad roommate, Please, Don't, Sign the lease with them. It's that simple. It has nothing to do with the leasing office...
Stay away from this apartment. If you end up with an unruly roommate who has a habit of violated the leasing code of conduct they'll insist "there's nothing we can do about it...sorry". leaving YOU to deal with it. They have no plan for how to resolve the situation their best plan of action is to email their attorney's who MAY OR MAY NOT respond. Unless you know for sure the people you're moving in with aren't dicks don't do it. The pool and jacuzzi are unsanitary both have visible dirt in them and the management insists that it's ok and that both are functional without even bothering to invest in any type of filtration or heating system.
Management in this place were decent and office staff were kind. Management even went so far as to assign me a better parking place under the complex due to the size of my truck, and that was without even asking. With any apartment, parking for more than one is difficult. the suite itself was a little on the older side but nice. Apartments accessed through interior hallway was a bit difficult. Elevators to lower parking were good for moving in/out. Lot of Asian peoples who can't cook; They would leave their suite doors open to the hallway and it was so bad I would literally gag. When I was there at the tiem thay had a fire, I don't know what suite it was in, but I want to assume it was the Asian guy or gal with the horrible cooking skills. [seriously] They were replacing the balcony windows and sliding doors while I was there. This complex was near a large college, so you got a lot of college aged kids that like to party at night. I lived over the pool and you can hear everything, unfortunately. But most of the time it was vacated after 10pm. There was a guy living below me who should have been a 5150 on a few occasions. seemed like a paranoid schizoid (for real). Other than the noise from the aforementioned it was a decent place. Shower pressure if I can recall was OK.
