UPDATE: Tallahassee Police Department and neighborhood police had to be called into the complex last night because management is STILL not doing anything about people coming into the complex and using the facilities. There was a group of about 15 teenagers loitering on the complex grounds because all of the gates to the complex have been completely open for about 2 weeks now. There is nothing stopping these kids from coming into this complex. Many residents have complained and NOTHING is being done. The property manager is completely neglecting their duties. There is supposed to be an amenities monitor.....but that person does not exist. For as much money as resident pay to live in these apartments, there should be professional security, TOWING!!, and we should not have to worry about calling the police multiple times throughout the week. Some of the other residents & I are going to reach out one last time about last nights incident, and if we hear the same "We are going to fix it" answer, we will be reaching out to corporate. Having issues with essentially all of Tallahassee coming to use the pool, basketball courts, gym, and computer lab. We pay A LOT of money to live here, and nothing is being done to monitor who is coming in and out of this complex. Many of the reviews on Facebook include the same complaints -- Management is not doing anything to make sure that ONLY paying residents are using the amenities. It's insane that so may residents have complained about this and nothing is being done to keep people out.
Hmm curious any of you experiencing any Haunting issues seeing you all are living on Haunted Property (Sunland ASylum Hospital) :-D.....?
#BED BUGS!!!!!! Do not sign the lease! They waive your right to be protected from Bed bugs!! Want's me to pay for remediation costs for my brand new bed and mattress that is now infested with bed bugs. Trying to put blame on the tenant though Florida statute 83.51-1 says explicitly relating to bed bugs "1. The extermination of rats, mice, roaches, ants, wood-destroying organisms, and bedbugs. When vacation of the premises is required for such extermination, the landlord is not liable for damages but shall abate the rent. The tenant must temporarily vacate the premises for a period of time not to exceed 4 days, on 7 days’ written notice, if necessary, for extermination pursuant to this subparagraph." My question is why would they waive this in the contract if it weren't a problem? I want out and they are trying to force me and roommates to continue to live in a unit that is not maintained or remediated of this pest or to take on the costs ourselves. No empathy, no sympathy, no concern for their tenants when it comes to this issue. So easy to take someones money but not provide them with an adequate place to live (and then blames you when crap hits the fan).
Went to use the pool today and it was full of rowdy people who told me that they did not live here. They followed someone in through the gate because "no one ever kicks them out." Why is management not doing anything about this? Why am I paying for people that don't live here to come and use the pool and gym? I noticed that other reviews on Google have the same complaint...but yet, nothing is being done.
