PROS: Great location and fair price. CONS: Uncourteous staff. Lots of robberies & suspicious activity. Bad guest parking situation as well.
TERRIBLE. As a resident of almost two years, I cannot believe the way management is run here. The only reason I am still living here is because of the convenient walking distance to Cal State Fullerton. The staff is rude, impatient, and unhelpful, and their default response to anything is "sorry, I can't help you." The work maintenance staff does NOT come and fix an apartment problem (such as broken dishwater, mold on the ceiling, etc) within 24 hours, even they claim that they do. Over the past three months, the water pipes have been turned off THREE TIMES, leaving residents only with a note that says "sorry if your water unexpectantly turns off this week. We are working on it." I missed a job because I was unable to shower with the water being off for an entire week. They'll do promotional activities without notifying us, such as playing loud rap music in the pool area, disturbing and embarrassing the residents, especially when they bring family members from out of town to see where they live. Overall, I am looking forward to graduate so that I can leave this complex. If you can avoid it, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
You should be aware that they don't give you a parking pass if you move into an apartment that is already occupied by one person. I moved in with a friend 5 months ago and still have to call EVERY morning at 9 a.m. to get a new visitor parking pass for 24 hours. They don't always give me one either. Their solution? They don't have one, so I have to figure out where else to park my car overnight or risk getting towed. It's ridiculous. And after 5 months I still have a ways to go before I get a permanent pass. Also, not sure where anyone else's units are, but it is VERY loud where I am. People are up at all hours. I dislike this company very much and would have never moved in had I known about the parking situation.
Good: -Cheap Bad: -Parking... you or your friends will get towed. -Mail... gets stolen. -Infested... yuk.
The office staff is rude, except for Debbie. Only 10 parking passes are given out during the weekdays and hardly none on weekends. Office is closed Saturday and Sunday. Guest can't park there without their pass or their cars will be towed. There is alot of empty spaces but they insist they are full. State College side is deserted. Mail is stolen because the mailperson leaves packages in front of your door or on top of the mailboxes. There is no package delivery mailboxes next to the regular mailboxes. The office does not accept packages. Complaints to the Post Office have not improved service. There are no security screens doors like at Nutwood apartments next door. Anyone can push or jimmy your door open.Theives break into your cars and apartment. They rip your screans even during the day. The hallway lighing is nonexisting. Very dark for anyone to walk to at night and the parking lot is also very dark. Trash dumpster should be empty several times during the week. With the heat of summer fasdt approaching, the ransite smell from the dumpsters can be smelt all over the complex; hense the roaches and rats. We pay our rent and on time. No respect toward college students or young adults.
