The apartments themselves are decent, do not expect amazing. It is a beautiful area of Salmon Creek to walk around and enjoy. Unfortunately it is the management and apartment staff that ruin our experience. We had issues with the parking (life in a complex is always complex) but at the very end they refused to return our security deposit. Saying we had done damage to the walls and carpet and that we did not clean it. This was a false statement. Currently we are still in a battle about the missing return of our funds given in confidence over the cleanliness and damage to the apartment.
Probably one of the worst experiences I've had living in an apartment. I should have known something was wrong when I was forced to pay for cable from Comcast for being a tenant. Most of the staff are friendly, but one in particular is extremely sarcastic and rude. Upon move out I was charged a painting fee and a cleaning fee in addition to the carpet clean fee. I have lived in approximately 9 different apartments over the past 15 years and have never had to pay these extra fees beyond the standard carpet cleaning fee. I had only lived there a year and there is absolutely no way I can be reasonably assessed these fees. The high price for the apartment does not justify what you get and what they say you owe upon move out is ridiculous.
I just recently had the worst experience with a staff member regarding the pool. I went to go use the pool and did not have my key, so I had someone let me in. That's when this woman came out and started yelling at me. It was beyond inappropriate the way she was talking to me. I had a couple guests with me and they even felt extremely uncomfortable. And the funny thing is, one of my guests was thinking about moving into these apartments. But after the way the staff member handled the situation of telling me to use my key, my friend will not be moving here anytime soon. I expected to be treated like a human being, but instead I was literally yelled at. If you are considering moving here, think again and don't move here. This woman should be fired for treating a paying tenant this way.
I have been meaning to write this for a few months.... The Hospital has brought in some questionable characters to the area. Homeless people and tweakers everywhere. This used to be an amazing place. It was been sold and the new people in the office are so rude. They are definitely not the stature of the employees they used to have. They talk to you like you are clueless and Anita in the office has zero customer service skills. She is snotty and not a very skilled listener. The maintenance people are also rude. All the staff has proven unapproachable. I wish the old staff was here still.Maybe I wouldn't have moved. The signs they have out front of the gates look like a used car lot. Tacky sales pitch if you ask me. Supposed to be a Luxury complex. I can guarantee the staff will ruin that and it will go down hill fast. Teenagers having parties in the pool area being rude and pushing little kids.Nobody did a thing about it. Lived here a long time. And I am sad to say. I am glad to be outta there. Train wreck waiting to happen.
The apartments are great, it's the little things that completely ruin it. The first week we moved in our washer was not hooked up right so it flooded our whole apartment. The tanning beds are never functioning yet they still advertise them, they are constantly out of sanitation spray at the gym along with the towels (GROSS) and the first time I used their online billing system it did not work or go through and I was charged late fees after I had called them numerous of times to see it everything was fine which they said it was and then when they saw it was their systems fault they stopped answering my calls. Also parking here is a NIGHTMARE. Not worth the expensive rent they charge here. Do not let the nice looks fool you. Find a better managed complex that can maintain their facility.
