Awful place to live old and filthy, the only thing that saves this place is the outstanding leasing staff Patty who honestly goes out of her way to try and help us and everyone, she's very pleasant. Maintenance as well are very kind to me and my family and do their best to help. I wish the management would give these people the tools to really help residents instead of leaving them hanging. Patty is wonderful and my baby adores her.
Management is terrible. Thsir quick to cash your rent check but throw away any matinece request. We've had a possum above the ceiling in our bathroom for 3 months urinating and using the bathroom through the ceiling and they still have done nothing. Roaches are terrible no matter what you do. The new ladies at office have terrible attitudes and don't return calls.
Old apartments; really bad environment and security is terrible, the gate has been broken for almost forever.
I remember living in these apartments and let me tell you it was HORRIBLE living there. We just came back from the store and we were walking upstairs towards our apartment when suddenly this man assaulted my mom and tried to steal her bag. I quickly ran inside my home and told my dad what happened and he then went outside to look for my mom. When they both came back my mom was covered in bruises and cuts and her bag was stolen. We called the police and they tried to help us but we never found the man. One of our neighbors would leave their dog inside their car while it was extremely hot and a few months later they shot him right beside our apartment. There was also one time my dad was getting something from his truck at night and me and my mom and sister were watching tv,suddenly we heard some gun shot's and we wen't towards the window and saw a yellow car in the middle of the parking lot and my dad hiding in between two cars. When the car left my dad came back home and told us that apparently there were two men in the yellow car and that they show a woman who was walking on the sidewalk. The next day we saw the picture of the lady who got killed that night in the sidewalk.
Drugs are sold here, The walls are too thin you practically live with other people who can hear everything you do and say. We here our neighbors from all two sides making out every Night and when they don't we know. When they fight, we can can almost say something and they will hear it. We are Christians and we don't believe in Cursing but we hear them every minute people are in their apartments around us everyday Loud and clear. Maintenance is a drag, The bathrooms have this permanent Urine stench that never goes away no matter what Chemicals you use, the Kitchen Cabinets are slanting down, so you can not put anything in them, it falls right back at you. I can take pictures to accompany my Complaint but I don't have a Camera. ***MY VISITORS ARE ALWAYS HARASSED UNTIL NOW THEY CAN NEVER COME AROUND, WE HAVE TO GO TO THEM INSTEAD... Noise At the Parking lots, and guys always calling out and whistling, wanting to talk to my Fiance calling out and saying "Baby, Baby please let me talk to you Beautiful Miss thing", I know where you live, I will come by sometime.... ***I can not say anything to them because I might trigger something I can not handle..we are afraid for our lives here, this are drug dealers who think they own every Woman that comes around here.... I can go on and on, but I don't know why this Complex is still in Business. We called the Police one time and they told us when they came that there is nothing they can do until they a crime is committed. So I thought that maybe it would be wise to call them after one of us is either Raped or killed, then we can have a good reason to call them. I want to Move out of hear as soon as I can, I have only been here two and half months, and I thought I liked the area which is close to Westheimer and everything else, but forget all of that now. I want to be far away from the Southwest as I can. Note: There was a night it was soo Loud that we had to go out and find a Motel for that part of the weekend so that we could get some rest and when I called the office, I was told to call the Police, there is nothing they can do about it and that is when I decided that if they can defend and or protect me as managers of the Complex, why do I even need their permission to move out.
