LONG POST BUT WORTH IT I was going to give this place a 3/5 at first but the last few months I lived there were awful. Truly awful. After a month of trying to get the renewal offer before we had to turn in a moving notice, and being told "we'll have it next week" 4 times, I finally got an offer of $1,220, 3 days before we had to give notice for our shoebox sized unit. Then the NIGHT before (seriously, at 8:30pm) there was the "real official offer" taped to my door for $1,280. No thanks. Now after being moved out for over a month, our deduction statement and remainder of our deposit are nowhere to be seen. Under law, we are supposed to get it within 21 days. After numerous unanswered emails, I call the office and the manager told me she called my husband, correctly read his number to me, and claimed she left a voicemail the day prior. Hard to do that when he doesn't have a voicemail set up. When I tell her this fact, she's obviously displeased and doesn't offer an explanation. We may be taking this to court. The thing is, if they had been honest, courteous and punctual, I still would have left a 3/5. I understand that mistakes happen, but own up to them. This complex is horrible about its maintenance staff completing repairs, their pools in operation, and now apparently they drag their feet in regards to returning security deposits. I hate to be so negative but seriously, I would rather live in a cardboard box then rent from JRK residential again if their properties are like this.
Horrible place to live. Been here almost a full year and seems like there is always an issue. Worst of all is the customer service, you cannot accomplish ANYTHING over the phone. its like trying to talk to a bunch of kids. every time I call I either get put on hold and forgot about or I have to walk up to the office to get a very very simple question answered, and even then I get a different answer, and attitude from every single one of them. (the Property manager, and Martin are the only nice people in the office. very patient and no attitude while trying to help you solve your issues) the girls ALWAYS have an attitude like you are inconveniencing them with your problems, and they are FAR too busy to help you.. HELLO!? thought that was their job... sink leaked all over my house and downstairs because of cheap fosset all light switches crack in half easily fake wood floors fake counters lights all burned out within a couple months trim on mirror fell off first week they shut off the water with literally moments notice, and for hours no pantry the floor plan sucks, doors open into each other NO cabinet space in the kitchen pool is a disaster and spa is NEVER warm (even though they claim it is) the only pool they keep nice is the one by the office, so it looks good on tours for new residents. I don't have a washer/dryer in my unit and the community ones smell like MOLD not to mention the fact that there are bugs EVERYWhERE Dont move here. save yourself, take your hard earned money somewhere else.
O My God why didn't I listen to the reviews. I've lived here only 3 weeks and I want to move out. Holly hell I'm freaking stupid... Don't be like me, don't be STUPID! Dog crap everywhere, pools that look like ponds, (yes there are ducks in them) carpets with animal crap stains, management or what I call (people that sit in the offices) that don't care. Best thing about these apartments is the landscaping on the outside that lures victims in. Go away,,, go far away from this apartment complex! You've been warned!
Only been here for 2 weeks and already not liking it, they are not too good at communicating when you call them and something needs to be fixed, windows have black mold, carpet was stained when i moved in, got it washed but stains are still there, the only reason i moved in was because i thought they were luxury apartments but they definitely arent!!
