I love living at Linc245. I have been here for almost a year so far and haven't had any complaints at all. The staff could use some beefing up to help out all the tenants around the building because sometimes they seem overwhelmed, but they are awesome and a ton of fun. There is not a place I would rather live in downtown Portland.
I unfortunately have to agree with the negative reviews, and would not recommend to anyone that I know to live here. The management is challenging to work with, they forget to do things that they said they would do, and they are often just plain rude. One woman told me that I needed to plan ahead better to get to the office in time to pick up packages, which was simply disrespectful as I work 12 hour shifts and the office is only open the plush hours of 10am to 6pm. There is also an infestation of bed bugs, and while they are willing to frequently check my apartment, they keep saying that they don't find any evidence of the bugs so they have not paid for my apartment to be treated, even though I wake up with bites on a regular basis.
I've lived at the Linc (previously Village at Lovejoy Fountain), and I am sad that I've having to relocate for my job. The two guys in the office have gone above and beyond to make my stay an enjoyable one. The office staff is great as a whole, however, there is one girl who shows a little more skin than is professional and seems insincere. Guest parking can be a little annoying because sometimes I have gotten off work late, after the office was closed, so I couldn't get a pass. But I have learned to get a couple guest parking passes ahead of time, just in case, so it has worked well. If I ever move back to Portland, the Linc will definitely be my first stop.
My girlfriend and I recently toured the linc apartments and really liked what we saw! Ken Cloudt did a stellar job showing us everything the property has to offer. He is professional and personable, a great combo! Between the gorgeous lobby, pool, gym, and even updated laundry room, we were very impressed! We very much look forward to living here. thank you!
I don't know if I've ever had a worse sting of poor customer service. It started before I even moved in, and it should have been a sign. They had me in over three times to redo paperwork (each time they apparently forgot a sheet, or missed a signature or lost something) and ultimately gave me the wrong apartment. After a very stressful and extremely negative move-in experience I thought at least I would be settled. I attempted to reach out to the manager several times in the hopes to move past the experience, but I was dismissed by the staff. Almost every single interaction I have had with the office staff has been frustrating. They just seem so disorganized. Every visit I make seems to result in some clerical error that needs to be corrected two weeks later, taking both my time and theirs. When the company switched to "linc" there seemed to be momentary improvement- at least now the company owned up to the few mistakes they made, such as misposting amounts on my bill or sending me the wrong updates. Sadly, after tonight, it is clear to me that the key component this company is missing is customer service. I came in to receive a package, which the office staff could not locate. Simple enough, I was happy to wait- until the staff insisted they were not at fault, and when I mentioned that I had been having ongoing office related issues they dismissed me and said "have a good night" instead of inquiring further or attempting to resolve any issues. My lease is coming up and I won't be staying on, not because of the building, but because of the staff.
