We moved across the country and had to find a place through the internet....big mistake! We came from another UDR community where the staff was so wonderful & friendly, they took pride in their work. When we talk to the staff here, we get "that look" from them that they do not want to talk to us & the new assistant in the office is rude & does not like to be bothered to even answer a simple question. Its sad to say, we regret moving here and will be looking elsewhere soon! We should have know when they told us we were getting an upgraded apt. when actually the apt they tried to put us in was not even cleaned from the previous people who lived there! The staff at our last UDR community took pride in their job and cleaned every surface they could inside and out, here you cant even touch the hand rails they are so dirty. UNFRIENDLY, RUDE & DIRTY. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
It's okay, not horrible. I've been here two months and have had several minor maintenance issues and the highest water bill I've ever had in my life. Otherwise it's not a bad place to live. They are supposedly updating the playground and patios this summer.
I'm currently in the middle of my lease at Brookridge. Living in this complex has been extremely difficult. First of all, the call box has been broken from the day I moved in which makes it extremely difficult to let visitors in. The utilities are extremely high. My biggest issue with the place is the fact that they do not stick to their leasing office hours. Their hours are 8:30-5:30 during the week. They do not open on time and are almost NEVER open past 4:45-5:00. This is extremely difficult if you are like me with a normal 9-5 job. It's impossible to visit the leasing office, pick up packages, etc if they aren't open for their allotted hours. Overall, the staff is unreliable and static.
