I have lived here 6 months and there is a maintenance issue EVERY month. When the maintenance man arrives he had an attitude. When I go to pay my rent I always ask the leasing agent or management what my balance is because everyone's rent will fluctuate by how much water is used that month. They always give me attitude and tell me to log onto my Palms of Clearwater account. Which I do the beginning of every month but our accounts won't show the total amount (rent+ water) until the 5th of each month. If you turn in your rent on the 5th..... Then you are charged $50 late fee. WTF Anytime I have to deal w management or maintenance, it gives me anxiety because I know it's going to be a negative and confrontational experience. All I want to do is live simple , pay my rent and be treated w respect. I regret moving here. The neighbors are GOOD ....no loud parties or any law enforcement issues. Most tenants have dogs , I never hear barking or see dog poop anywhere. So that part is a plus.
This place is now a bit better than it used to be but management is not so great! Units are fine, maintenance is OK, good neighbors overall.
This place is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!! The Management is completely downright unprofessional. My Dad and I along with my brother have lived here for 4 months. And the roaches are just gruesome! They are everywhere!! Bathroom, kitchen, living room, and even in my bedroom! We have told management about this issue several times and they get some guys to come in here to spray, but hell THAT doesnt even work! Then my Dad's girlfriend told 'Mario' the manager about this pressing issue and he has a stuck up attitude and feels as he is above the law and it is totally unprofessional! Don't live here! Unless you are trying to befriend a roach and a stuck up boss who thinks he is all that!
This Place is right next door to a nasty trailer park. There are some trouble makers who live there and have been hopping the fence at night to steel what they can. I caught one attempting to steel a tool box. My neighbor had two bicycles taken from his screened-in patio. Heavy smokers live in the unit behind me, My wife and child along with myself have to breathe the second hand smoke which gets so bad at times; as if we had smokers light up right in my home. The office personal told me there is nothing they can do about it and if it is a real issue for us, we can always move out. Becky, the office manager at the time, ACTUALLY SAID THAT, word for word. The joining walls are paper thin and I can hear my upstairs neighbors speaking in their bedroom, when I am quiet in my bed reading a book, or on my laptop. l will be moving out very soon, they simply will not address the insulation problem and there are just too many other issues even if they did. This has been a horrible experience.
My fiance' and I crashed here till we can afford a house. We have lived here for 4 months and I have to say the element isn't bad, people keep to them selves which is good for an apartment complex. The office crew seems snobby and doesn't really take their renters seriously about concerns, or when they have questions, they treat you like you're 12 i guess because so many youngsters live in this complex. Right across the lot, one of the office people live right there, i find that tacky. I really don't want to look at one of my landlords when i step outside my door. My biggest biggest concern is that this place seems to be famous for roaches! They get in everything! and i mean the microwave, the silver wear drawer, it's grotesque. The people who are supposed to spray with an infestation like this should spray once a week or something but it's every 2 months that is if they come to your door like they're supposed to. There also random knocks on the door out of nowhere in the afternoons and every Tuesday the blower guys who blows the leaves away is in front of your door it seems for an hour, its very noisy and irritating at 7am! My fiance' best friend's parents had told us if you live upstairs in the two bedroom there seems to be an extra open compartment or something..? but it turns out these people's things started missing and they only noticed when they saw dirt on the floor. obviously someone was able to go from downstairs to upstairs through some hidden compartment. I can believe that because my spoon and Tupperware are now missing. I can't stress enough to talk to people who have lived in the actual apartments before making a decision about moving in.
