I've been renting with this property since October of last year with my two children & as I read through the reviews, I can honestly say I'm not sure where the ones live that have posted negative reviews!! My apartment is a 2bdr with vaulted ceilings & a wood burning fireplace!! Does it have its flaws?? Well of course, its an older complex but everyone that has visited me has complimented me on how nice it is!! The walls are thin so you do hear muffled voices through the walls when its really quiet & yes, its in the path of the planes coming into the airport. Other tenants keep to themselves & aren't trying to be in your business which I love!! There are two swiming pools, a fitness center & a community room/business center that has computers, printers & free wifi that is accessible during business hours!! Also, they have an arrangement with UPS/USPS that package deliveries are left in the office!!! So no packages left on your door step or missed deliveries!! There is also an on site laundry facility with a pass code lock so only people that rent here have access to it & its cheap to wash & dry compared to other areas. For pet owners, they even have a fenced dog park so your furbabies can actually run & play. There are tennis courts as well! The maintenance staff is friendly & knowledgeable. I've had 3 problems & they arrived immediately & even one was after hours!! The office staff has just recently changed so I don't know all of them yet but the ones prior where so helpful & nice! I pay $940 a month (15 month lease option reduced my rent) & that includes water & trash pick up...meaning they pick up your trash from your front door!! My apartment has all the new upgrades as well!! For this area, that is cheap!! Less than a half a mile up the road is several hundred dollars more!! I love that it's a smaller, gated community too!! The only thing I could complain about is parking. They only allow one vehicle per apartment to park in the front of your building which we all know doesn't happen. There is plenty of overflow parking but I feel that there should be numbered parking spots so that everyone has at least one parking spot in front of your building. All that being said, if your looking for affordable, decent housing in the very high demand area of Nashville/Donelson, this is your place!!

All the negative reviews are kinda rediculous. Unless you're in a $2000 flat built last year in downtown Nashville, you have to have a little understanding with older apartment complexes. I have to say that this place isn't bad at all. They are consistently updating the property outside, and update units when someone moves out. The price going up is really the fault of Nashville being in high demand now. If you drive from Mt Juliet,Hermitage, the edge of downtown, Woodbine, even by the old Airport on Briley Parkway prices have all gone up, and are all around the same price, unless they are rent controlled, and cannot move in unless you make under a certain amount a year.
Also, having lived on Murfreesboro Rd in Antioch, and off Gallatin Pike in Madison most of my life, to say there's a safety issue here is silly. Most people are friendly, or just don't bother you. Don't run away from this property, because you see disgruntled people make negative reviews. Staff is nice, area is nice, and of course the apartments are nice.

Where do I begin....How about the fact that they brag about being a gated community and then leave the gates wide open 24/7; the fact that there are always large pieces of furniture dumped around the dumpsters and left for months; the fact that they tell you in the office to call immediately if there are leaks, you have a leak that lets in over a gallon of water, call immediately and no one shows up for several days, you finally call them AGAIN and the manager has to tell the head of maintenance to take care of it, and when they take care of it they don't even bother to come inside and fix the drywall damage; the fact that they send out a notice saying they are offering renter's insurance so you call and tell them to sign you up, they tell you they will so you cancel your current renter's insurance, not only do they NOT get you signed up when they said they would they DROP the insurance company they signed you up with and the way you find out is when they call you and demand you bring down a dec page, you tell them THEY signed you up and they say "Oh, we dropped that company" and this all within the span of a month; they brag about having a "courtesy officer" and you call him for a noise complaint, he tells you it's a domestic and he doesn't do domestics, you need to call NPD so you do TWICE and they don't show because it's a noise complaint; people are being robbed in the parking lot in the early morning; they charge you $20/month for valet trash service and 95% of the time your trash doesn't get picked up. Also at some point this became section 8 housing....This is the tip of the iceberg. If you are looking for a nice, safe, clean place to live you won't find it here.

My fiance` and I are in our 30's and this is our first apartment. We've been here for almost two years and it's time for something bigger and better. I'm paying $700 (with water) for the 620 square footer (non-upgrade) and I have to say... it's pretty tight in here. I will be looking for a bigger place. It is pet friendly environment and the one bedroom apartments get their own washer/dryer. They have a laundry mat just in case. Both swimming pools are nice and are cleaned every morning during the summer time. The gym is 24/7 and you can pay the rent online. I've gone through 2 management changes here and all three have been... well... let's just say that the current staff are doing their jobs. The repairmen have usually been on time and do great jobs with the repairs. Watch your electric bill over the winter. The windows and sliding doors are not double pane tight like the modern apartments are. We keep the heat on extra long to balance out the coldness around the windows. I even keep towels on the bottom of the window, but that doesn't help much. During winter season, my bill is around $150. In the summer, its around $80. Trash and lawn is always tidy. Outside lights are always replaced. They have added this new trash pickup service every afternoon (Trash Fee is added to your rent now.) All the roofs were replaced in the Fall 2014 and they patched up the holes in the concrete this past winter. The new speed bumps are not the best things ever. Too many of them I'd say. The Exit Gate is never closed and during the day, they've changed the rules on the Entry Gate which has gotten some people confused and has even damaged there cars. What's the point of being in a gated community if you deliberately keep the gates open? I have seen some emergency vehicles here a couple times but no cop cars, so I would say the crime rate is kinda low here. They just recently replaced the broken concrete steps. I heard they will be repairing and repainting all of the building this coming Summer (2015). I asked about the Windows/Sliding Doors be replaced with weather saving ones and they said it will be sometime next year (2016), but it's not guaranteed. The location is good. Plenty of gas stations, food, bars, banks, grocery stores, it's near I-40, and the airport is close too. Which brings me to my next point. A lot of flybys. If you have a third-shift job like I do, you have to sleep with the flybys. Overall, it's not bad if you are a heavy sleeper like I am, but the SouthWest planes are the loudest. The main reason why I want to leave is the size. 620 is just too small for a couple. It's too small just for me. I do have a lot of crap... but I digress. Overall... it's an affordable starter place and it's livable.

Don't waste your time here. On move in day my toilet, washer/dryer, and refrigerator all didn't work. Not to mention the washer had socks in it that didn't belong to me. I then had a series of 3 leaks in my apartment, which was a mess for maintenance to fix. My sink is damaged and when I mentioned it to management they just shrugged and suggested that "my sink was just old". They recently decided to repaint and fix the siding on the whole complex, however the paint job is extremely cheap and nails and paint buckets are still outside my door weeks after they finished painting. The majority of the people that live here are rude and like to walk around in the middle of the road all day and night. I would avoid this place at all costs, as I will be leaving as soon as my lease ends.
