This complex is one of the oldest in Houston. Very unstable. The management team has changed at least 3 times in the last 2 years. They've misplaced documents because they changed so many times. The residents there are rough loud and obnoxious. Seems that the management is more worried about harassing tenants than fixing the break in issues. Crime and some drug activities definitely. No comcast accessible in my apartment. Comcast said the building was too old and the management wouldn't let them rewire anything. Cable wires outside on the ground running from boxes to apartments. Trash fills up a lot. They cut the water off at least once a month it seemed like. Every month it seemed an apartment or car was being broken into. Don't even waste your time if you're looking for safety and friendly staff.
Are a/c has not worked properly since we lived here. We have had 6 work orders and still it does not work properly. While im at work the maintnence people come and treat my wife like she is stupid saying things like " well you should shut vents off in the rooms you are not using". I know if the a/c was working I should not have to shut off any vents! Not to mention the 4 work orders I put in for our washer and dryer eating all our clothes. What does it take for them to realize that cleaning out the vent does not stop it from putting holes and slashes in or clothes!
When me and my wife lived there, the management was outstanding. We had never lived in a better community. We recently tried to move into a different complex, and the new manager (same managing company, different person) has been dragging thier feet about our verification since day one, despite telling her it was an emergency. Do they drag their feet all the time now? Do they take forever to sign leases? I will never move into a Luma Corp. apartment again after their rude and unprofessional treatment we received.
I am moving soon. Thought this place was great. My first apartment in Texas. I live month to month and think 60 days notice to move out is quite rediculous. I find it quite funny that a deal can't be worked out either.
