Horrible!! Worst experience I have EVER had!! Lumina is the new name, but even WORSE NOW!! Run for your life if you don't want to be upset everyday your there. A home should be a place of peace and respect! You will NOT find it here!!! You will be wondering as I did what you were thinking... Just Don't take the chance and IF you do MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY THEM!!! TAKE PIC'S before you move in and after if you don't want to be stole from and your name being scared from them!!!
When your a resident they ask for feedback. On this question: What is it like living at Holly Ridge? This is what I wrote I think it sums up holly ridge. It's like paper cutting your balls and putting them in lemon juice. I hate that their is no parking because you guys are greedy and want everyone to pay an extra $10 a month. 2 bedroom should equal 2 spots. The show unit is way nicer than the actually apt. Staff is rude, letters constantly posted on doors about maintenance or picking up packages that just got delivered. We've had more letters posted here than anywhere either of us have lived combined. Dog shit everywhere because half the year there is no bags and the other half you don't enforce the rule. Chimney doesn't vent properly because of the fireplace was designed by a retard (and yes it is open correctly and not plugged). When the wind blows the carpet gets blow off the stairs. All the screens are falling out or don't fit properly. The people living here are white trash, at $850 you would think they can't afford it but thank god these guys love HUD. Pit Bulls, and Rots all over the ground although they are specified as not allowed. Internet speed sucks and no one will tell you that till after you move in. In closing you guys are world class bastards who strategically show you the show unit in the nicest light possible. And yes these will be on google and yelp in about 5 mins.
I wouldn't even give this place one star. We signed the lease and 3 days later they called me saying there was a HUGE flea problem and that I couldn't move in for 3 weeks..told me to talk to my current landlord to see if I could stay there. Why did they not do a pre-move out inspection?!? The apartment should have been ready 4 days later!!!!! I told them that wasn't gonna work and that I needed to be out by the time I told them. Then they told me that they could move me in a week later. How do you go from 3 weeks to 1 week with a big flea problem..? I had to ask them to stay in their guest suite they never offered it. My boyfriend and cousin had to take work off to help, I had finals week and 3 finals that day. They made everything super difficult. They lie, everyone tells you different things, the manager is a bitch. The first day of move in we found multiple things wrong. The screen door fell off, our bathroom fan doesn't work, dryer timer doesn't work, there's mold in the bedroom, the shower handle is lose, the "new" windows they put in are scratched. The place looks great before you move in but then as soon as you sign the lease everything appears to be shitty. They even tried to change the lease without us there!! Which is ILLEGAL!!! We told them 10 months, they signed us for a year. They broke the lease and then modified it but kept our signatures. We can not wait to move out. Already hate it. Please listen to these reviews! I wish I would have read these before signing.
hated this place. the office was very unprofessional and rude. They took a very long time to resolve any issues i had with my apartment, and they rarely finished the job. This complex is poorly run and supervised. Management makes false promises and doesn't follow through, also they will make unneccassary repairs when you move out so they don't give you the deposit back.
Nope nope nope.... We put in our application on Sat night. Monday we called to let them know that rather than take a 2 bedroom we would like a 3 be room. We then find out that if we are to change our minds and opt of a diff. unit we would have to pay the application fee's again. They do not transfer your information from one unit to another. Not only that, but if you want to move to a diff. unit after your lease is up they charge you AGAIN for an application fee! even if you have lived there for a year or more.... What a RIP OFF.
