Not sure why this place has so much bad reviews but I have lived here for almost a year and I never had any major concerns. This is a new construction so the quality of apartments is good from inside. The community has functional Jim and BB Court. It also has swimming pool but not sure why it is closed, if there are problems it should have been fixed since its only one season a year when people use the pool When we first came in to our apartment it was not properly cleaned, so I went to the mgmt. office to discuss the issue. The leasing agent addressed the issue on the same hour and responded to it as prompt as she can. There are few things to consider which can help make this place better - Dedicated play area for kids - Dedicated poop area for dogs - Repair work needed on stairs
I have lived here almost 14 years and would like to stay 14 more.
My car has been broken into 2 times in less than 6 months. After the first time, when asking front office staff, they said their cameras could not see where my car was parked. So, I parked closer to the clubhouse. Yet again, my car was vandalized. The first time, they broke out the back window and took out a set of speakers, box and amp (That I never even used in the complex) THEY left an iPod, a brand new Odyssey putter ($275 value) a full set of Nike Irons, a Nike SQ Driver and a Callaway Diabolo cart bag ($250 value). The value of the clubs/ipod are 5 times that of the speakers. Because of this I had to replace a back window. I did not replace the sound system (as I said, I didn't use it) and insurance did not cover it because it wasn't "permanent." The second time, it appears they were spooked because all they did was crack the passenger side window. There is nothing in my car, they didn't finish the job, and I'll still have to pay $170 to replace this window. I'm still waiting to hear from management to see if there is any camera footage (like it matters). This place needs security. There are people who play loud stereos in their cars at all hours of the night, and their answer? Monthly Neighborhood Watch meetings. It doesn't take a genius to see (palm trees?) that the photos on here are not representative of the Clermont/Speedway location. The actual units are great but steer clear off this place. Their security is horrible. How much longer until the vandals move to people's homes? There aren't cameras there! Feel free to contact me with any further questions. From now on, my car will be empty with all the doors unlocked. I have a 4 year degree and have been gainfully employed since my graduation many years ago, but it's the smartest thing a person can do.
Someone broke into my apartment on December 13th, 2008 while I was away. Please be careful when entering and exiting your apartment. May sure you are familiar with your immediate neighbors. Unfortunately, I didnt know any of my neighbors and had no clue of who lives there and who is a stranger. Not a bad apartment otherwise.
The management at these apartments do not care for the well being of their tenants. The area is an unsafe area to raise a family in. For EX: cars are broke into monthly and glass is left on sidewalks and on road ways even after the office is informed. My neighbor house was broke into and cleaned out and the office was NOT caring of the family's needs. They do NOT inform you of late pay nor 60 day notices. They will charge you for anything and everything. Maintenance crew will enter your apartment without knocking and while you are not home. They will not inform you that people have been shot on the premises, robbed on the premises, and for the most part are races. The office staff will not attempt to deal with issues in or around your apartment building EX: the North side of 7206 has 20+ diapers laying in a small area on the ground, glass piled up in garage way and parking area, siding falling off that they have yet to replace, they do not handle noise complaints even when the cops are called 3 week nights a week, mold growing in bathrooms that have yet to be re caulked, garbage disposal thats been broke since day of move in, carpets are paper thin stains come up through the carpets before you even move in, window seals leak and yet to be fixed even after ruining your property, and the heating/cooling in each apartment is down right pita-full. Over all this is not a safe nor healthy environment to live in and the staff of River Chase DOES NOT CARE. They make it look good on the outside but when you move in, you see their true establishment. Sincerely Your Resident
