BEWARE; The assistant "manager", Toni is unprofessional and flat out rude. We lived here for 2 years and always enjoyed the staff. I could say a lot of things on here about incredibly unprofessional behavior. But I truly believe that what you put out into the universe will indefinitely come back to bite you in the ASS. After her fake niceness to our family, my husband and I caught her dancing around like a small child singing "they're gone, they're gone" after our final walk through to vacate our apartment. Real professional. * Note to Toni; You should be ashamed of yourself. * Dana the manager however, is always a pleasure to work with. The complex looks nice until you move in. It did n't take long to realize, it truly is a pig with lipstick on. Bond-O everywhere in big patches to hide the shoddy wall work, mold problems, draft problems, sticky doors, loose doorknobs, falling blinds from lack of proper support beams, easily clogged sink drains, and the thin-est of walls. You will enjoy hearing your neighbors all the time. The PROS; Dana the actual manager, is kind and caring. The work crew is awesome and efficient. Location is great; close to shopping, local dining, and parks. And the amenities are fantastic. I think if this property were managed more wisely, it may help resolve the problems listed above.
My family has lived at Parkside for several months now, and we are very happy here. The community is beautiful, and the apartments are spacious. I love our 3-bedroom floor plan. The spaces are well-designed with plenty of storage. The amenities are almost always in perfect working order, and when things do break they are fixed quickly. The maintenance staff is great, especially JJ. At least one maintenance person is here seven days a week, always ready to take care of emergencies. The office is also open seven days a week, and though they may not answer the phone every time someone calls (as another review mentioned), you can walk over to the office and have a fresh cup of coffee while you wait to speak with one of the office staff. When my husband or I choose to leave a message, someone calls us back the same day. The only complaint we have is the creaky floor above us. It is worst in the kitchen--lots of popping and the occasional cracking sound. It's unsettling when that happens right over your head. I wish Concierge would have them repaired.
Clean, well maintained, and quiet. When we need help, they are very responsive. I was not lookong forward to apartment life after so long of living in houses, but Parkside has been a great apartment for us.
I wouldn't say the management is fantastic but I have not personally had problems with them. Maintenance is quick to respond and fulfill any requests. The grounds have improved drastically since we moved in, from a play area to new barbeques. And when we go to the office to pay they know my name and are very friendly and helpful. They always have a treat for my dogs as well. The apartments themselves are a little on the quickly built side, but that's par for the course in any apartment complex. It is very annoying that I can never get a hold of a person when I call, yet if I walk down there they are all sitting at their desks....I understand the answering machine when they are busy but simple courtesy would be nice if they are slow. All in all, I don't regret living here for the year I did but I am not renewing for personal and financial reasons.
Parkside is a very beutiful place. I think some people will like it a lot.
