I spent months looking for an apartment complex that wouldn't be super trashy. I liked a lot of things here - the gas stove, the location of the complex, the way the apartment looks, and my single apartment location. When I first moved in, I had A LOT of happenings that required maintenance. They were able to come within 24 hours and even when I had an emergency on a Sunday I was still able to get someone. Maintenance is amazing! The staff is friendly, but sometimes I felt like it was pulling teeth to get an answer. There's one pool which isn't bad, but it would be nicer to have two so the pool isn't so crowded and I don't have little kids splashing water on me when I'm trying to relax. The gym is small but doable and has all the basics you need. There's no gate code but you think they would have told you about an alternative of getting in the gate so you aren't locked out at night if you forget your key. So when I moved in on a Saturday I had to go a whole weekend with traveling up to the gate to let someone in and out with moving everything I had/deliveries. Not a super big deal but it would have been nice to know beforehand instead of waiting until Monday to put my phone number in the box they have out front. Parking though is the reason this is a 4 star review. Parking is TERRIBLE. I always park in the sun almost anywhere because this is AZ so I'm used to it and thought I would save myself some money by not getting my own spot (because for the price you pay they can't include one carport. Maybe if they did parking wouldn't be so bad). For starters, when I moved in I didn't have my own spot for 3 days and then they tried to give me a spot that was on the opposite side of my apartment. I was not too happy about that. And then when I went to go get a different one they took quite a long time getting back to me on which car ports were available. I had to sit in the office seeing if there was one available when I had emailed them 2-3 days prior. But if you don't have a car port, good luck finding a spot. Even on the weekday nights every spot is filled. It comes to where you have to park outside of the gate just to have a parking spot. There's a lot of uncovered parking spots but they fill up a lot faster than the car ports do, that's for sure. Overall, it's really nice. I like this place and plan on staying here, just wish they could change a few things.

I've lived in a plethora of different apartment complexes since the day I turned 18, and this one is no different from all of the other ones owned by 'large' leasing management companies. My initial thoughts of this place were how incredibly nice their pool area is and how friendly all of the people were(tenants included). Walking into an apartment with an open concept was nice, coming from a cramped 500sqft. bachelor's pad. I loved the high ceilings and the huge granite island. I LOVE that they have gas stoving and heating, LOVE IT! The entire apartment was very aesthetically appealing. However, upon moving in, we realized our apartment wasn't completely ready. The blinds broke the very first day and I couldn't believe how dirty everything was. Their is a hole in our bedroom screen door that still hasn't been fixed(we've lived here since November) and that seems to be a consistent characteristic with any maintenance request you submit. Our air conditioner broke within the first few weeks of living here and it took them 3 days before finally calling in a HVAC technician who knew what he was doing. The maintenance guy just kept coming and going, scratching their heads while looking at the unit AND made sure to track paint in on the carpet with them. Once we realized all they did to fix anything was spray WD40 on it, it would be easier to call and pay for a professional to do it instead. The craftsmanship could have been better but once again, its owned by a larger management company. I love how friendly everyone who lives here is, the staff is nice, and you can't beat the location for the price. Haven't had any roaches besides outside, but I already spray pesticides regardless of the pest control at an apartment, and they've all been dead. I did have a Silverfish problem but I don't believe that had anything to do with the complex. I had brought in an old box of junk from my mom's garage and I think that's where they came from. Parking is a joke, but I don't drive so it doesn't bother me much. Just my fiancee. Overall, I'd say these are decent apartments given all of the other factors. I just wish their maintenance was more educated, or had proper resources and man power to do things more quickly and efficiently.

I live here with my wife for more than 2 years now, It's a great place to live. It's not perfect, but has a much more to love than hate. I'll start with the not so good stuff: 1. Parking spaces. There are just not enough. If you come after 8pm or 9pm, forget about finding a place to park. 2. They don't clean as much as they should in the top floor. So like Mike Hastings said, you will find spider web and dust here and there. (it's not a biggie, but I wish they'd clean more). The good part: 1. Great staff, always nice, always helpful, always there. I don't know why Mike Hastings says they only worry for their next paycheck. I always get great service from all staff, be it maintenance or administrative team - they are 100% helpful. 2. The fitness center is great. It's not a GYM so one shouldn't expect it to have whatever a full scale gym has. I go almost daily, all equipment usually works. When it doesn't (gym equipment tends to break) it will be fixed in matters of days. I wish they'd pay more attention to vacuuming the carpets and put water in the fridge. But that doesn't make the fitness center useless. 3. Landscaping around the building and the pool area are really nice. It's nice to walk around the building in a sunny day. 4. Pest control is here on regular basis, I see them every other week or so. I didn't see any bugs in my apartment and rarely outside. 5. There are social events, free coffee and water in the office. Over all, we are happy tenants.

Phoenix area's new and upcoming ghetto. New management does not care about anything except their next pay check. People sitting on their porch at all hours, at night, you can smell various types of weed being smoked, during the day there are young kids running around with no adult. When I moved in, never saw a cockroach, 2 years later I am seeing them about every two weeks. Weekly community pest control is no longer working. Stair cases are often covered in spider webs. Parking is terrible. People with assigned spaces will move out but the new management will not make that parking space available. Gym is a joke. Treadmills have ruts due to extended use and other machines are falling apart. I don't want to get hurt while exercising so I bought a gym membership somewhere else.

Apartments are decent, pool area is nice, Parking is TERRIBLE! If you want an assigned spot, you have to pay quite a bit extra for a covered spot, and even more for a garage. Besides that, there are a limited number of unassigned parking places. We often had to park outside the community, and you are not allowed to park on side streets, so we would have to park at the Discovery Park. Also, smokers would often throw their cigarette butts onto our patio because the few walking areas for dogs are right behind the apartments. Office staff and maintenance were not terrible, but they were not very helpful, either. Our washing machine quit working twice, and both times they just swapped it for machines in other apartments, and putting our old broken one into the apartment of someone else. The third washing machine they brought did work for our last month there, but it had animal fur all over the inside.
