I have lived here since summer of 2012 and moved here from Tennessee, site unseen. I was told I have a backyard - I don't. What we all have is a common area. I have needed maintenance regularly, and often for the same purpose I had asked for prior. There doesn't seem to be much pride in workmanship. The staff seem irritated when I complain about all the dog poop everywhere. They mention that they went over personally and cleaned it up. Isn't that what they need to do when people don't pick up after their pets? Today alone, when I went out on the grass with my dog to his usual area, there were 8 piles of large dog doo and I put a large stick at each site so it wouldn't be missed. No one comes to clean up the dog doo left unattended. There are many children here and often roam unattended. These are smaller than high school aged kids. They don't seem to know when not to bother people or dogs and it gets quite irritating. They tease my dog and make him very anxious. The watering here is quite excessive. Management seems to think this is the only way to have green grass. Problem with over watering is that we end up with mud puddles and mush to walk through. Anyway, I'd look around other areas before moving out here. I've had plenty of experiences I don't care for, and upkeep does not seem to be a priority here.
I had made the mistake of renting this apartment out of state as they assured me it was nice but to my disappointment it had been flooded prior to my renting it and it had shoddy repair work. The maintenance man was the worst person I had ever dealt with. My kids had pneumonia after one month living in the apartment they gave us that had been flooded. My older son was at the doctor several times and is just getting better finally one year later. I hurt my foot going down the stairs that are not up to code by any means and after almost 6 months of psychical therapy its finally getting better. Our parking stall was constantly flooded with mud when it rained. I could make a list a mile long how awful this place was. We were so happy to finally be leaving and now I owe them $1500 for breaking the lease or it goes on my credit. I wish I never called this place. It was and still is a nightmare!
Lived here for 3 yrs. if you love meth, unsupervised children and apartments that catch on fire due to faulty wiring then this place is for you.
My family has lived here for over a year. IWe love it here at Bridge Creek. Close to school for our son and close to the freeway for my husband to commute. We have had great results when we have work orders to be done. Always in a timely manner and the staff are feindly and efficent!!
If someone reviews anonymously then it should tell you that they're just angry and trying to get back at someone... I have lived at Bridge Creek for 3 years and I would rate it as an average apartment. The walls are thick enough to keep noise from neighbors to a minimum. Bugs and mold are not a problem and management has been more than happy to fix all problems that we report in a timely manner. Positives: Affordable, great neighborhood, awesome school zoning, new paint, noise level, courteous neighbors, management, animal policy. Negatives: Garbage(sometimes piles up), traffic speed, parking(what apartment doesn't have this problem?), rent increases. I will agree that the rent increases are bothersome. They WILL raise your rent when your lease expires, so sign the longest lease you feel comfortable with.
