It's long but I like to be thorough and explain why I feel a certain way. If I just say oh its bad you won't know why. Within my first week living there someone attempted to break into my apartment twice. The woman in the front office tried to make me feel like I was losing my mind ( she is no longer there) and that those types of things didn't happen there and told me to file a police report but that there was nothing for her to do. I spoke with a neighbor who let me know that the same thing happened to him but he even chased the man down OUT of his home and asked if the could install a security camera, he still waiting and has lived at the property for 4 years because he and his family cant afford to move yet. Another thing, my unit was not complete for move in either. The floor had not been properly vacuumed in one of the rooms, the closet in the second bedroom was broken and missing a door handle. My toilet in the main restroom had a broken handle and I put in a request online to have these things fixed because when calling the front office no one answered and still doesnt most of the time. Needless to say my husband and I fixed the toilet and the closet door and cleaned ourselves but when the maintenance man came three and a half months later I had forgotten the requests and had to laugh and send him on his way. Be sure to check your unit thoroughly prior to move in even if you have to take a day off work. It's also a bit hood in the area, here is an example, some parents were fighting at the kids bus stop and then took it further into the complex after one of the men came to clear everyone out. Someone had to call the cops. You'll find that the cops are in the complex a lot because somebody always has something going on. The children are another matter entirely, parents will leave their kids outside unattended and the kids will be all over the complex, arguing, cursing and fighting, in the streets throwing things near the cars, etc. And lets talk about the New Year... They were shooting like crazy and the cops ended up coming to the area because multiple people reported the shooting. I was able to look out my kids window and see the light coming from their guns cause these fools were in the middle of the street. It's not at all what I thought it would be when I moved here. I didn't talk to enough people. Also, avoid month to month if you can and make sure wherever you are going is already completely ready. If not you could end up out on your butt if they find someone to rent your unit out. Check your options is all I am saying. But if you get lemons... Spend a year making lemonade. On the upside the current office staff are nice so even if you do have to see them often, they are polite.

I really enjoyed my first year here. I had the perfect mix of neighbors and we resided amicably together with mutual respect. Somehow after the first year the dynamics of the building changed and my quality of life here has lessened tremendously. I've had an issue for over a year now since Feb. 2015 with smelling heavy cigarette and marijuana smoke in my unit. It's been reported numerous times over the year to local level management as well as corporate level yet no one seems to be able to find a resolution or suitable accomodations for me. I've repeatedly expressed perhaps figuring out if there's a mechanical issue in the building that needs to be addressed. I feel as if my issues and concerns are of no importance to management. If important issues were addressed with the same vigilance as the collection of rent and late fees these would be much nicer places to live. Many of the issues I've had however aren't a reflection of management so much as it is of the tenants. Loud music by some tenants...or their visitors. People not having control of their children. All just a matter of people not caring about how their actions interfere with others, which is very important in apt living. Parking is terrible and I feel that each unit should have at least one assigned parking spot because between the people in the town homes with garages having multiple vehicles, visitors, and people residing in the unit that probably aren't on the lease, parking is terrible. As I look outside now there's two broken down vehicles taking up two of the best spaces. Again, these could be very nice places to live if more rules were enforced, not just collection of rents and fees, and all tenants took personal responsibility for helping to make it nice.

I live in the 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment and I don't really care for it. I pay $645 a month and I have to pay Water, Sewer, Trash, Gas, and Electric. I feel like I'm paying for a house, I didn't know I had to pay all those things because most apartments pay it for you. I probably wouldn't mind if the apartment looked more up to date. I never have parking and that's extremely annoying! My lease ends soon and I'm definitely interested in moving elsewhere. It was nice while it lasted

Too many Rowdy Teenagers constantly hanging out like rodents! Thank God for Winter time because they seem to be allergic to cold.
