The WORST apartments I've ever lived in. The parking is unbelievably terrible. I don't know how the top floor of apartments are but the bottom floor is very poorly insulated-we have cold air pouring in the bottom of our front door, leaving the living room and kitchen freezing while the bedrooms hold all the heat. The cabinets are falling apart, half the light switches don't work, the pipes around us click and scream anytime anyone around us takes a shower. And on top of all that, the freezer leaks out onto our floor and into the fridge; we had a huge a/c leak in the master bedroom, leaving it flooded; and also a leak in the master closet. However, if you're looking for an apartment complex to have loud leaf blowers come around a few times a week then this is a good one for that! Needless to say I would NEVER even consider living at Viera again and I truly hope I save someone some money and frustration with this review-It's not worth it!
The moving in was awesome and the later days are going great.. Am really impressed with the way the maintenance work and office works.Parking is not so bad as I expected.A lot of spaces are always available.Never faced any issues with parking. Keep going Viera Cool Springs..
This is a good community to stay. All the major stores are near by.But this is a old community. There is no Laundry room.
My review is a little longer, but contains lots of info! We also had Jackie for our contact. She's awesome. We did have a balance, but after a week it was sorted out. It had to be adjusted and we made sure to call and ask about it so we weren't 'late'. My experience was handled great and fixed. I have family that lived in the area, and she walked them as they looked through the apartments for us, and let them take pictures. Jackie has emailed or called us within 2 days max and kept in touch with us as we've made the process so far. Everything her and/or the office has set up regarding fees and paper work was great and really easy to see and follow. Especially the welcome packet-that was really helpful. I appreciate whoever's idea that was. I've never gotten anything like that so far. She never nagged us, made us feel bad, yelled, or treated us in any manner but great. Her tone was nice, and she was always helpful and professional even when I called her a bunch that first day. Again, I cannot speak for any other office members because I don't know anyone. Jackie gave us everything we needed to do, alerted us to corrections if we needed to make them, and sent a nice welcome packet that had everything I needed to get (electric, washer dryer, and renters insurance among other things). UPDATE: It's been two months and some days, and everything is still going good. I have lived in Henersonville, Williamsburg apts, Bradford Woods, and now here. Like it here best. I live on the side with the four foot small pool, so maybe its quiet over this side. Notices go out a day or two before they do something. People drive by and play bass on the road, but its not too bad. Parking isn't really bad, but you will have to walk if its after 7pm. There are spaces though. You can use walkway through other buildings to cut through (for heals) and there is a sidewalk around the center. There are a few regular spiders inside, but no other critters. Its summer so that is just the state but call if that bothers you. We like the spiders because they keep ants away and they are always by window. No we don't let them stay. I never hear my neighbors, aside their doors open and close. UPDATE: electric in summer ran us about $125 with the air at 74 most of the day. Deposits range from none to $300 down/credit. Now if you leave during the day it will be less. This is average for us among the places we lived before. Cable we went with the super cheap 40 channels of nothing (lol) blast at $59.99-$67/m. I'm not a super TV fan. I called and took off HBO and they gave me a few other channels for that. Cable Wi-Fi isn't the best. It will go maybe up to 50mbps, when they say its 'up to' 75mbps, then it drops to like 2 or kicks you off. Its erratic. I dunno if that is just our place. Right near us are 16 other people. We tried several channels on the bandwidths, but ended up sending us back to the larger one, and that is the one everyone is using. Consider a dish maybe. Renters through Assurant is like $12. The bill with water, trash and pest all comes together. Water is per place not shared. $40 ish give or take, $25 trash pickup ect, $3 pest, pet rents $15 (plus $350 down) ). Washer dryer rental is $32 plus tax if you need it by Azuma (not the best ratings) or Nashville appliance. expect to drop $68+ on the first time fee, delivery, and rent of those without upgrades. The complex doesn't have a place to do this at on premise. Right up the street at Kroger plaza is a place you can do it. Moms, ranges for daycare's are here $140-260 a week. I liked Kindercare $224 /5 days Some apts have fireplaces, some have the bookcase. They seem smaller, but really are perfect. Kitchen has pantry! and that saves space in a smaller kitchen. I'm in a 2/2 'Randall', and it has the wood laminate. Upstairs has carpet in rooms and living area, down has all laminate. 10x12 was bigger than I thought and fits a king good with two end tables. A long dresser will be tricky because you have two walls and one is for bed. AC cools place very well. Oh, work orders came in next day.
After reading the reviews, I was reluctant to visit Viera Cool Springs. I was new to the state and needed an apartment fairly quickly so I decided to stop by Viera Cool Springs and wow, what an incredible experience it has been! Within days, we were able to get an upgraded unit with wood floors and brand new appliances, with convenient access to 65 and a perfect location between Franklin and Cool Springs. We had some minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed around move in time and maintenance had it all done the same day (I found out they just hired a new maintenance team, really great guys!). Jackie, who was my leasing agent, has been extremely helpful/responsive, but everyone else in the office has been just as eager to help. I was on the brink of returning back to Florida, but now - I am beyond excited to settle into Tennessee and make a home here. I can't speak for past Viera tenants, but I am definitely grateful I found this location!
