Great place to live! Walls are thin but I think that comes with apartment living. Great interior upgrades. Perfect location. Great office staff!
RUN!!!! Do not rent from Paces Station. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I moved in there was a bug problem. Hundreds of bugs crawling all over the place. When I asked to have the issue resolved they didn't seem to care at all. They sent and Orkin person every week for 2 months and still I have bugs. I never write these types of reveiws but felt so taken advantage of that I found it necessary to protect other people. DO NOT RENT!!!!
Initially I was very excited about my apartment. It was a good size apt for the money. However the continued rent increases are ridiculous and unjustified. There have been no improvements to the units or complex as a whole that would reflect such increases. Overall the apartment and community have been very good. I don't have bug or snake issues. We live near a train, so why would someone complain about living by a train. You knew that when you moved in. The maintenance staff has always been courteous and respectful. The office staff, well depending on the day you may find someone helpful or someone who wished they were working somewhere else. Overall, to all those looking to move here, it is a nice, safe community. It is no longer a good fit for me, but it is a good start for someone looking for good rent (at least for the first year until they start the increases) and a good community.
I only gave one star because I had to in order to comment. When we moved in they charged us an over $100 to move in a day early and come to find out after our first month of rent they had to post a credit because it was to much. The appliances are from the 60s and are roach infestedddddd. One time I put a maintenance order for a light outside to be fixed and the maintenance people came in(like really) the apartment anyway.when it came time to renew my lease in July they hounded me from the end of April-mid May to renew. I have a friend that used to work for Equity in Florida and she warned me about them. Lesson learned. When I wanted to move I asked the office staff about the procedures and fees to move-out and each one gave me a different answer. Noone is on the same accord or knows what the H*## theyre doing. I paid the fee to break my lease and they also wanted me to pay a months rent in advance when I wasnt obviously gonna be there (can u say crazy). Im never late in making my payments but they sent me a "demand in rent " letter because my last week there I was a day late and the was a wolf threat about a dispossesory warrant. My scheduled date to move out was on the 12 but they wanted me gone by the 8. I heard that most of the Atlanta properties were gonna be sold anyway. I wouldn't even recommend a homeless person or my worst enemy to live at that property. The pool is closed most of the summer and they act like they don't allow big dogs but I've seen dogs the size Saint benards. There was a water leak for almost every other month on the top floor outside. I even had to request that they cut my grass out front because a forrest had almost growed.WHATEVER U DO READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE MOVING THERE.
I have lived @ Paces Station for 8 months and Cant wait to move out. Let me break it down for you. The rent is ok, considering its in Vinings. The water bill is ridiculous. You pay according to the size of your apartment, which means the 4 college kids sharing a one bedroom next door pay the same as me, a single occupant working 9-5 and barely home over the weekend. The appliances are OLD i mean either from the 70's or early 80's. The AC is busted, the thermostat reads 85 degrees all year round and numerous calls to the leasing office have been futile. Now, the killer of them all is the noise. These apartments are very old, therefore no soundproofing. I can hear the lady upstairs flush her toilet, every step that she makes, i can hear her talk on the phone, I can even mute my TV and listen to her tv while watching mine. Come winter time, when everybody leaves their cars running for an hour before they go to work, kiss your sleep bye bye coz those engines will be as loud as if they were in your bedroom. The maintenance guys are very nice though, they really try to make you feel at home, too bad they dont run the place. So, if you wanna pay the water bill for the whole block, come live here. I have lived in a 5 bedroom house and the water bill there was the same as in my 1 bedroom pad. Good luck living here.
