Very cheap place . Everything kept breaking . And extremely small . Not to mention they wanna take your money for everything .when we moved out because my husband deployed they were very stubborn and trying to charge us for 2 months of rent after we mover out... . and it's ridiculous to pay 800 a month for one little room... this is the worse place to live in but at the time we were desperate . Please do not go to stewart Way Apt!!!not worth it !
Really lovely place to live. I've been here since April 2014 and will continue to live here until Feb 2017. It's a little small, but it's just me and my two cats. It's extremely quiet. I think I have heard my neighbors twice in over 6 months. It's a good price for what they have to offer. Any disputes that I had financially were settled within 24 hours. Any maintenance I needed was handled within 48 hours or less. The women who run the office are pleasant and fun to talk to. I have spent many days chatting with them in the office. They call me when I have mail and are always a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this place to just about any soldier looking for a small, reasonable apartment. 1-2 people in a 1 bedroom 1 bath.
I am surprised this place has not made it to the black list!!! this place was beyond disgusting to live, management will go after your hard earned money, ANY WAY they can. i gave them 30 days notice, plus my commander's official letter ordering me back to military quarters. They ignored it all. I lived here for less than 5 months and their list in damages was ridiculous, i was barely there and stupid enough not to do my own inspection when i moved in. Not only did they keep my security deposit, but they reported $1500 dollars and some change to the credit bureau. Did not follow military clause. I wish they didn't treat soldiers so poorly. i reported this place to all the proper channels possible! good luck if you move into this garbage place.
I agree with the review written by Emmanuel. This place is cheap and very close to post. I am renting a one bedroom apartment which has a small laundry room included that can be used as storage which also contains an easy access attic ladder in which you can store even more equipment or belongings. The community is mostly military and the week days are pretty quiet and peaceful. On the weekends, there is a bit of commotion outdoors but that is when the residents are outdoors doing cookouts or just hanging out. I have not seen any bugs in my apartment and I keep the place pretty clean and spotless. The one issue I do have is the musty smell but I was told that the buildings were constructed anywhere from 27-30 years ago. I keep a dehumidifier on though and have a couple of air freshners in the apt and its helped. The most I have paid for electric is $58, so I don't know how other reviews have stated issues with high electric bills and with their heating and cooling. Management is really good in responding to work orders and the heating/cooling equipment is easily programmable. The two ladies who work there are really nice and helpful. I recommend this place to people who live in the area who want to live close to post and save money.
I am not sure why some people are writing bad things about this place, but in my experience as an army resident from 2009 to 2012, I have many good things to say about Stewart Way Apatments: This is a beautiful quite and real laid back place to live. If you are looking for a place to come back to from the stresses and strains of the many BSes that you may encounter in fort stewart, Stewart Way Should be one of the places you can call home and just cool off at. I had a studio room while I was there and I never ever saw a single roach there. The room was nice and clean when I moved in. And I maintained it nice and clean till I Moved out. If you are filthy and you have roaches, please dont blame Ms Robin and the other lady. They are great people who do their best to give you a nice stay while stationed in fort stewart, Ga. I DEFINATELY will go back and stay there again if I ever come back to Fort Stewart which I doubt, unless I am coming back as Division Commander!
