I agree with the review written by Emmanuel. This place is cheap and very close to post. I am renting a one bedroom apartment which has a small laundry room included that can be used as storage which also contains an easy access attic ladder in which you can store even more equipment or belongings. The community is mostly military and the week days are pretty quiet and peaceful. On the weekends, there is a bit of commotion outdoors but that is when the residents are outdoors doing cookouts or just hanging out. I have not seen any bugs in my apartment and I keep the place pretty clean and spotless. The one issue I do have is the musty smell but I was told that the buildings were constructed anywhere from 27-30 years ago. I keep a dehumidifier on though and have a couple of air freshners in the apt and its helped. The most I have paid for electric is $58, so I don't know how other reviews have stated issues with high electric bills and with their heating and cooling. Management is really good in responding to work orders and the heating/cooling equipment is easily programmable. The two ladies who work there are really nice and helpful. I recommend this place to people who live in the area who want to live close to post and save money.
Inexpensive and close to post. However my apartment was broken into. Locals knew when we were deploying so be careful.
I am not sure why some people are writing bad things about this place, but in my experience as an army resident from 2009 to 2012, I have many good things to say about Stewart Way Apatments: This is a beautiful quite and real laid back place to live. If you are looking for a place to come back to from the stresses and strains of the many BSes that you may encounter in fort stewart, Stewart Way Should be one of the places you can call home and just cool off at. I had a studio room while I was there and I never ever saw a single roach there. The room was nice and clean when I moved in. And I maintained it nice and clean till I Moved out. If you are filthy and you have roaches, please dont blame Ms Robin and the other lady. They are great people who do their best to give you a nice stay while stationed in fort stewart, Ga. I DEFINATELY will go back and stay there again if I ever come back to Fort Stewart which I doubt, unless I am coming back as Division Commander!
ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES!! This is really a disgusting place to live. Yes, it's cheap but you are really getting what you pay for. I lived there for 4 months and the air conditioning didn't work well, the place smelled like old water logged wood, and worst of all there are roaches everywhere. The laundry rooms are always dirty and full of bugs, the trash piles up at times, just overall this place sucks. Live here only if you can't afford to live ANYWHERE else.
STEWART WAY APRT. outside main gate! HELL HOLE ! you will cry if you live here! Lived there hated it mold every where in walls and under building ! robin an the other lady that works at the front office was never there at all. our rent was changing constantly not by much but a few dollars here and there. The ARMY moved us out. and they are just about to black list that place. and it took me 6 months to get half of my deposite back and another month to get some more. Im still waiting on 55 bucks and its been almost a year. every time I drive by that place I thank god I left and moved on post DONT GO HERE IF MILITARY ! !!!! Talk to On post housing ! please Dont waste your time or money. Monthly Rent and Bills for electric 1100! not worth it in the winter time except heating to be at lest 200 a month ! BAD BAD place!
